After reading the reviews on this site I booked a room for 1 night as I was going out in Salisbury for a party. I was checked in by the landlord, Tony, who was very friendly. He explained how to get in after the front door had been locked and also showed me where to park in the small car... more

I stayed at the White Horse for an overnight stay as I travelled from London to Stonehenge and Salisbury, Bath and then on to Cornwall. The inn has a great location and is easily walkable to both the bus station and the train station. I did walk by the inn once or twice since the pub sign out front actually... more

We went to visit my eldest son, he works in Salisbury and find this hotel ourselves. First we stay in B&B (to much in the face). We really enjoy staying in the White Horse, friendly people, service good and we did enjoy the bar as well. I can recommend everyone to stay here. more

We -my daughter and I-took the train from London and we were able to walk to the hotel it was about 8-10 minutes. The town is lovely like so many in England. The hotel is above a bar and the bar is closed on Sunday so a back door key is issuedfor coming and goings. There was no phone available... more
