We booked this hotel as a stop-over for one night. Firstly, It's a Weatherspoon's hotel, above a Weatherspoon's...and it was pretty cheap, so our expectations were for a 'have a few drinks and crash' kind of stay. We were totally wrong, the hotel had a really nice cosy vibe, the rooms were really comfortable and way more luxurious than your... More

Receptionist was very helpful keeping our bags until check in time. Room was small but very clean and bed was really comfortable. Loads of hot water for bath and shower - however the room was too hot as the air conditioning unit would not turn down and we had to close the window to reduce the all night noise of... More

Room was spacious and comfortable which provided a good nights sleep. No hesitation in recommending this Wetherspoon hotel. Breakfast taken in the attached Wetherspoon pub and was very good... More

The hotel is in a fabulous location and near the bus and train stations, the rooms were clean and tidy, the disabled room is situated out of the way of the noise and not near the main road so no traffic noise either. The food was very good and large portions. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating to all our... More

Stayed here three nights in December, on business as a lone traveller. Hotel room very nice, in fact a very pleasant change to find a well lit room. The hotel looks recently refurbished, and looks smart. Breakfast is taken in the weatherspoons bar. And, well... It is cheap, but.. Some items are not fresh cooked. I had eggs royal (like... More
