Just returned from a night at the Lazy Cow and i must say I wouldn't hesitate to return, the hotel itself is a period building full of character and quirks, the rooms have been done up very nicely though ours was a little tired now and could do with some freshening up, that said the facilities where good and we... Our stay at the Lazy Cow was somewhat of a rollercoaster: For every good thing that we experienced we also found something else that was, well, not so good... Unfortunately, there were too many negative impressions so that in the end we were left with an overall feeling of disappointment - especially after we had arrived with the high expectations... More

Housekeeping and maintenance are clearly not a priority here. We had to be moved from room 4 because it was tiny and dirty. Rom 5 is a better shape but still had multiple issues. The bathroom is dirty. The shower head doesn't work and the coffee machine is broken. Since we arrived yesterday the halls haven't been hoovered and they... More

I booked this room as a good deal for central Salisbury, and despite the negative reviews thought that I would give it a chance... how wrong I was. The lazy cow isn't the only lazy animal at this hotel. The Hotel. The hotel itself is a beautiful old building full of charm and character, with lots of interesting features. As... More

Great restaurant and pub suitable for all. The hotel is great also, but not everyones cup of tea. Some of the reviews are really positive and some are really negative, the truth is it is TLC is both great and terrible depending on what you like and what u want from a hotel. It is a very old (possibly listed)... More

Me and my family came to the lazy cow, we didn't expect much but we was so amazed as soon as we walked in, it is such a beautiful building inside and out, the display is amazing. The food..wow I took my three year old niece and she love the food and she is normally really fussy with her food!... More

We were due to stay here for 2 nights in May as a cheap Peppa-Pig stop-off enroute to Devon. However, when we arrived the whole place was so disgusting we immediately cancelled our booking and got a room at the hotel next door. First of all, walking in through the courtyard on a quiet Thursday afternoon, we were greeted with... More

We decided on the Lazy Cow Hotel for an overnight stay as we thought it would offer something a little different. The hotel is in a great location & looks so quirky from the outside, on arrival it took a while to check in as staff were far & few between (something with continued) we'd booked the Moo Cow Suite...
