These days when you book some hotels there can be a degree of trepidation off the back of previous reviews. I'm pleased to say our doubts were quickly dispelled by attentive service and the lovely quirky room with its huge bathroom. Room 14. Ok so the toilet lid needs fixing (is it really that difficult to fix?) the decor was... More

We booked this hotel by accident because we thought we had booked Lazy Cow in Warwick. After arriving to Warwick from London, we realised the mistake and ended up having a looong gruelling drive to Salisbury... Arriving very late at night and being totally exhausted, we had a very welcome greeting. They knew what we had gone through :) And... More

This B&B is very quaint, with its exposed beams and slopping staircases. I like the fact that you can see its age and the owners have tried to keep this throughout. The bed was lovely and comfortable and the breakfast was top quality. The room we had was quite small (room 11) and there were some things missing from the... More

Having seen the reviews we stayed here expecting the worse. We were pleasantly surprised. We had a room in the annexe which was warm, comfortable and quiet. The bathroom was large and airy with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was good too. No complaints. A good stay

We stayed for a night on the groupon deal mid week. We had room number 15 on the top floor and it was stunning. Big room, separate seating area, big bathroom with a bath - just about room for 2 in the bath, exposed beams and angled ceiling as it was in the loft. Ipod dock was great, view from... More

A wonderful hotel with a lovely cow theme running throughout, from the cow hide chairs, milk bottle and cow horn light shades, to the life size print of a Highland cow on our bedroom wall! We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived and handed the bull ring keys. Crooked oak beams and wonky stairs added to... More

we stayed the night of the 15th march, the building is old and we were in the annexe, our room was spacious and we had a large bathroom, very pleasently surprised, we had our evening meal in the resturant , and was delicious, as was the breakfast the next morning, (the eggs bennidict was the best ive had!) all the... We took advantage of the groupon deal and are glad we only paid groupon prices. Quirky hotel and rooms, lovely ceiling and bed in the room. However it was freezing! We did have a heater but the two radiators did not seem to turn on! So it was very cold especially with the single pane windows. We had room 8... More

We booked a groupon package away, a good deal including bottle of wine and breakfast for only £59. We had the wine on arrival and took it up to the room. The room was huge and very well decorated. Lovely lamps and mirrors and gorgeous exposed beams. Big flat screen tv and nice tea and coffee facilities. Very nice so... More

We took advantage of a Groupon offer to stay at The Lazy Cow for £59.00 a night with a bottle of wine in the room on arrival and breakfast. Check in wasn't until 3pm but the chap on reception was more than happy to look after our cases while we explored Salisbury. Our room was quirky and cosy but overlooked... More
