What a delightful Hotel in a wonderful setting. Comfortable rooms at a fair price plus a first class restaurant and very friendly staff. Only booked on the spur of the moment but would seriously want to go again, and so near the City centre… everything one would wish for!!! more

I stayed here two nights at half price ie £65.00 per night. It was still too expensive for a small double room. Great for the river, but advertised as the Avon River and its not - its the Nadder which admittedly flows into the Avon but about 300 - 400 metres away. Full english breakfast was awful. I took my lovely wife here for our 28th anniversary. Positives: Beautiful location, lovely mill on the river. The delightful 15 minute walk into Salisbury is well lit and safe. Salisbury itself is wonderful, we especially enjoyed the walking tour (every morning at 11:00 from tourist office in town) this gave us a real flavour for this beautiful medieval City.... more
