Having previously lived in Salisbury and only had time to press my nose up against the glass of the hotel in the past, I was reasonably impressed that my company chose the White Hart as a destination for a conference. It was probably my own fault that I set myself up for a fall here, but from the start, and... more

Really don't know what everyone is talking about below. The staff go over the top to ensure your stay is good. They all seem to know the local guests by name. They have a loyalty club and also hotels all over the world to use the points in. While it is a little expensive these days after seeing the other... more

This Mercure branded hotel is decorated to a reasonable level, keeping character & some olde worlde charm. The hotel is central, though a good walk from the station- you'll need a map to find it, but it is very close to the Shopping area once you get your bearings. Breakfast was good, but the room gets very crowded in the... more

Booked in here by a company, so no choice. Staff were all very welcoming; did not use bar or restaurant though these were populated by an 'older' crowd. Good parking on site. Room was beautiful and huge with a great bed and sofa - wish I could have spent alot more time in it! I was in the main building,... more

My husband and I spent 2 nights at the White Hart over Easter. It is ideally located for city centre sightseeing and with a large car park to make leaving the hotel for touring the west country very easy. Plenty of space on your return, not something you always get in a city. We had an executive room on the... more

We stayed at this hotel in July 2006 as the first night on our vacation through England/Scotland. I am thankful I had only booked it for 1 night. There were 4 in our party, me, my wife, and our 2 daughters, 10 and 15. When we got to our room, which was about 9 x 12 or so, there was... more

Very nicely located and near amenities but surrounded by roads around which the traffic screams all night. The room was small and shabby but clean. Strange makeshift arrangement of TV/tea and coffee making was in a cupboard in the middle of one wall and the cupboard was interfering with the reception. Pull-out tea tray filled the space between cupboard and... more

Stayed for Valentines night on a dinner, deb and breakfast offer booked directly with the hotel. We stayed in an executive room on the first floor, we had a nice view of the cathedral and the room had been refurbished tastefully relatively recently. The hotel was full but we still managed to park in the car park saving moeny and... more

Stayed at the white hart when I visited the city to see my girlfriend who had relocated from London to Salisbury. The Hotel is a 17th century building with a lot of character. The lobby is full of an eclectic collection of antiques. The fireplaces that where lit with real fires give the lobby a cosy atmosphere. We got a... more
