Marvellous luxury B&B with a charismatic welcoming host in Richard. The other reviews pretty well say it all. Central location – about 8 minutes’ walk to the centre- with free parking (a huge asset in Salisbury); lovely house with excellent bedrooms; an inviting breakfast room in the conservatory; and a good residents sitting room. Bedrooms have all of the facilities... More

A gorgeous place and hosted brilliantly. From the moment we arrived until we left, everything was perfect but relaxed. We enjoyed our stay, and got great advice about where to eat and what was on in Salisbury during our first and short stay. Even bread to feed the ducks on the short walk into Salisbury! We'll definitely go back to... More

Richard will prepare anything you want for breakfast - he will discuss what you want for breakfast the day before in case he needs to shop for some special ingredient. The B & B's location is a short walk from the train station, the Cathedral, all the restaurants. As is the case in most of England, the rooms are not... More

There's not much more that I can add that previous reviewers haven't already noted. It's all true, even down to the amazing breakfast. All perfectionists should be rewarded with a 100% rating. Thank you for paying attention to every detail, Richard! For those of you without a car and wanting to take a trip to Stonehenge, this is pretty much... More

We spent one night in this b&b as we were attending Wilton Supercar day, which is only a short drive away. Beautiful room in a lovely house full of character. The shower was one of the best ones I've tried. Complimentary water, chocolates, tea and coffee facility in the room are a lovely touch. Superb breakfast, cooked to perfection by... More

From the charismatic welcome on arrival to the entertaining farewell, Sedgehill House is a peerless b&b experience. Attention to detail has been lavished on everything from the booking experience to the bottled water, fresh flowers and magazines. House, decor and furniture are gorgeous - real home-from-home. Bedroom - fabulous. Bed - bliss! Bathroom - has everything including a superb shower.... More

This B&B is a standard other B&B’s should try and aim for but I have never stayed in one that comes close. The first thing you notice is that nothing is too much trouble for Richard – he really does want to make sure you have the best stay possible. The house is impeccable with lots of interesting paintings and... More

Having searched the net for a decent hotel in the area which did not have too many terrible reviews (almost impossible!), we hit upon Sedgehill House B and B, which didn't have any bad reviews! We do not usually stay in B and Bs, preferring the extra facilities of a hotel, but we could not of asked for anything better:... More

Beautiful room and house with a very comfortable clean bed. Easy to walk to the Cathedral and the train. Beautiful garden and a wonderful breakfast. Richard makes you anything for breakfast you want. No worries. He also made me feel worried over and cared about…so welcome. I was traveling alone for the first time in 27 years (seriously) and I... More

My wife and I traveled for three weeks across England and Scotland, and Sedgehill was the best B&B we stayed at during our vacation. Richard was extremely welcoming and provided advice on touring the city, help shipping our souvenirs, and dinner reservations. The room was spacious and well furnished with everything we needed. The bathroom was large and we enjoyed... More
