This B&B is a standard other B&B’s should try and aim for but I have never stayed in one that comes close. The first thing you notice is that nothing is too much trouble for Richard – he really does want to make sure you have the best stay possible. The house is impeccable with lots of interesting paintings and... More

Having searched the net for a decent hotel in the area which did not have too many terrible reviews (almost impossible!), we hit upon Sedgehill House B and B, which didn't have any bad reviews! We do not usually stay in B and Bs, preferring the extra facilities of a hotel, but we could not of asked for anything better:... More

Beautiful room and house with a very comfortable clean bed. Easy to walk to the Cathedral and the train. Beautiful garden and a wonderful breakfast. Richard makes you anything for breakfast you want. No worries. He also made me feel worried over and cared about…so welcome. I was traveling alone for the first time in 27 years (seriously) and I... More

My wife and I traveled for three weeks across England and Scotland, and Sedgehill was the best B&B we stayed at during our vacation. Richard was extremely welcoming and provided advice on touring the city, help shipping our souvenirs, and dinner reservations. The room was spacious and well furnished with everything we needed. The bathroom was large and we enjoyed... More

Stayed two night while doing a longer trip in England to see the Salisbury area. The house is in a perfect location, 5 minutes to the centre. We had the chance to park the car in the drive for the lenght of our staying. The house is spotless clean and incredibly elegant (you don't need to visit Wilton House anymore...... More

My girlfriend booked two nights at Sedgehill for my birthday at the end of June 2014. Our host was very friendly and welcoming, showing us round their beautiful home with a genuine interest in our comfort and satisfaction. The house was beautifully decorated and maintained, offering a pretty, quiet garden and classical living room area to accompany the immaculate bedrooms.... More

This hotel really ticked the boxes for an overnight stay in Salisbury to celebrate my birthday. Spacious rooms, with interesting décor. Fresh milk in flasks to supplement good selection of tea, coffee and other drinks. Excellent breakfast in pleasant dining room looking out on Italian-style garden. Very well looked after by attentive host.

We chose this B&B for an anniversary stay after looking on Trip Advisor and seeing the glowing reviews. What a find! Lovely Victorian building beautifully presented, and our room (The Cloisters) was perfect, with a luxurious bathroom including separate shower and bath tub. Ideal location to go to all the attractions in and around Salisbury. And what a superb host... More

This B and B does it all. It is in a lovely quiet part of town with views from our room over the garden. Richard was so welcoming and helpful. The room was comfortable and spotless. The breakfast was delicious in every respect. (Go for the scrambled egg and smoked salmon, it's lovely and creamy as well as tasty.) We plan... More
