We stayed at The Edwardian Lodge on our weekend getaway to Salisbury, and definitely would stay there again. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the family suite was spotless! Very good value for money, would definitely recommend! Also, it's only about a 10 minute walk to the city centre!

The room at the Edwardian was nicely furnished, the bed was comfortable, and was on the first floor facing the street. I heard that street noise could be a factor, but for me, it wasn't an issue. It was a short walk to the river walk which was very pleasant and would get you to the Salisbury Cathedral. We only... More

We arrived with no booking mid afternoon, but were lucky that the owner was home and was happy to check us in. Owner was a bit standoffish and pointed to a map of how to walk into town and told us to fill in the breakfast order and leave it on the table in the front hall. We asked for... More

Nice B&B located in a good position for the city. Although on the main road the room was quiet. We booked a triple room (which is room 8 and is a double+single bed format) It was lovely, good space and very clean. We were able to get in early as the booking for the night before had cancelled, so following... More

Arrived at the hotel and the owner was waiting for us....seems we were the last ones to check in (but well within the stated check-in times). Didn't really greet us or ask us anything just quickly moved me over to a map to show me how to walk into Salisbury. Then told me we had to fill in our breakfast... More

Room 8 - the family room on the ground floor. Clean, fresh & comfortable. The standard of decor and cleanliness was a perfect example of a well run, well organised and well loved business. We only stayed for one night but would loved to have stayed longer. Our hosts provided a very warm welcome before ensuring we were happily settled... More

Lovely clean guest house, rooms had everything you could want in them. Made to feel very welcome and good quality beds. Breakfast was pre ordered and probably the best in any hotel I have stayed in, in months. Well done Edwardian lodge, I was very pleasantly surprised. I would stay there again if I was in the area.

Arrived before check-in time but friendly welcome and given useful information about getting into the city on foot. Room very comfortable and clean. Really good freshly cooked breakfast, ordered the night before, bacon was well done as requested. Would definitely stay again.

Parking for 4 - 6 cars, friendly welcome, large single room, average bed, need better quilt, average shower (not the most powerful) plenty of hot water, everything clean as it should be, tea/coffee to make a brew. They like you to order breakfast the night before (tick all appropriate boxes, Bacon, sausage, etc) breakfast is from 8, little late for... More
