Lovely clean guest house, rooms had everything you could want in them. Made to feel very welcome and good quality beds. Breakfast was pre ordered and probably the best in any hotel I have stayed in, in months. Well done Edwardian lodge, I was very pleasantly surprised. I would stay there again if I was in the area.

Arrived before check-in time but friendly welcome and given useful information about getting into the city on foot. Room very comfortable and clean. Really good freshly cooked breakfast, ordered the night before, bacon was well done as requested. Would definitely stay again.

Parking for 4 - 6 cars, friendly welcome, large single room, average bed, need better quilt, average shower (not the most powerful) plenty of hot water, everything clean as it should be, tea/coffee to make a brew. They like you to order breakfast the night before (tick all appropriate boxes, Bacon, sausage, etc) breakfast is from 8, little late for... More

Very tentative hosts, rooms lovely decor and spacious. Was fully booked when we were there but we didn't hear anybody else. Location was easy to find with a sat nav and ideal for the wedding we went to a few miles away. Breakfast was cooked fresh to the oder we submitted the night before which was nice with plenty to... We went to Salisbury to watch a local Amature Dramatics play of "Going Postal" the great man himself had recomended it. We phoned the booking office which was also the local information centre and they recomended 4 B&B's close to the theatre and we fortunately chose this one. The room was huge and warm. Plenty of towels and a very... More

The Edwardian Lodge does everything it says on the tin. We had a comfortable and spacious room, a good choice at breakfast, and proprietors were very friendly and helpful with directions. The only small complaint we couls have would be that the water pressure in the shower was too low.

Good well appointed room of reasonable size, small en suite with all the essentials - all recently refurbished. Close enough to the Cathedral and shops to walk and with adequate parking. An excellent breakfast in a cramped conservatory. Friendly helpful hosts. But .. we were there on the hottest days of July 2012 and the only way to get airflow... More

In over 40 years of international travelling, we would give the Edwardian Lodge B+B a 100% rating. It was the hottest night of the year when we stayed; we were provided with a fan and had double aspect windows which created a through breeze. As we live in London we are not troubled by traffic noise which was no worse... More
