Having booked and paid for 2 nights B and B for myself and an old friend who lives in Chichester. We thought a meeting half way, I live in Bristol would give the opportunity to catch up while exploring Salisbury, Cathedral and the surrounding area might be nice. Imagine how we felt on arrival to find the place locked up... More

We stayed here 13/14 March. I haven't written a review before as we have been out of the country since. I feel that you do get what you pay for here as have paid more and stayed in not such a nice place as this. When we arrived there was no heat in the bedroom or anywhere in the hotel... More

There was only... More

We visited this Pub on Sunday 25th March 2012 for lunch. Nice atmosphere and pleasant décor. Friendly staff. However, we wanted Real Ale's but all were off ! We chose the Burgers from the menu for lunch, which sounded great, although 95p extra for cheese seemed expensive when the Burger was already £10.00. The Burgers arrived with Chips, side salad... I booked a night here for my husbands birthday, when we arrived there was a musky smell to the place but when shown our room (the swan) it was quite pleasant, however when we went to the bathroom we were met with different view! On opening the shower door we averted a potential accident when the door fell off its hinges.....Carl... More

After a long day driving from Portsmouth to Weston supermare and back, we decided to get something to eat on our return leg, and stopped at The Swan. We both had the Steak Bavette, which was just about the best steak we have ever had, beautifully presented and served by the friendly staff. We will certainly call in again next... More

We stayed at the Swan so that we could do the 8am Stonehenge trip- the staff were all very friendly and the atmosphere was homely. The food wasn't too ambitious but was generally well cooked- however, my salad was a bit gritty and the chef appears to have had a chocolate fetish- I hate chocolate but both our puds had... More

Now first of all when we arrived we wernt sure where to check in as there wasnt any sign or indication that we should go to the bar. Anyway we stayed in the wilton room, which at first glance seemed nice but on closer... More
