In a quiet spot just at the edge of the village, Avebury Life B&B offers respite from the busy village and a relaxing tonic for the mind. Antoinette is the perfect hostesse. The bed was very comfortable.

It appears circumstances were against us when comparing our experience with others. Calm was the last word I would use to describe this. The owner appeared somewhat frazzled and that feeling was passed onto us. We were welcomed with, "I'm glad you've arrived now, that means I can go swimming" . The next morning breakfast was shoved down in front... More

We spent a night at Avebury Life in order to be able to see sunset at the stone circle. The B&B was just what we were looking for: friendly, quiet, and reasonably priced. The property is a short walk from the stone circle through picturesque fields with a view of Silbury Hill. Antoinette is a lovely woman and cooks a... More

My friend and I stayed here on Easter Friday. Antoinette was relaxed and accommodating. The house is a little outside Avebury (less than a kilometer) and best reached via a path at the rear of the church yard. Lovely breakfast and magical healing powers!

When I walked into the kitchen on my first morning, Antoinette was just taking the bread out of the bread-maker! The rest of my stay (3 nights) was up to the same, great standard. Crystals to greet me, fascinating books on the bookshelves, interesting company every night. This is a very special, and unusual place to stay.

Avebury Life is a great little b and b, a real gem! Located only a few minutes walk from Avebury stone circle and the Red Lion pub, Avebury Life is situated in a quiet, peaceful area with lovely views. The rooms are homely, warm and secure. Downstairs is a nice breakfast area with a separate living-room area for guests. If... More

The weather was beastly when we arrived having driven though driving rain for about 6 hours, but Antoinette's friendly welcome soon had us feeling much better. When we first arrived, one of the best things was a massage cushion on the sofa in the breakfast room, which Antoinette encouraged me to use. This did a lot to help me recover... More

We arrived in Avebury pretty late, it was dark, we had no reservation and did not know the area. The Lodge was also full... We really thought we were going to spend the night in the car, but we received a recommendation from The Red Lion to try here and see if there is a vacancy left. Although the host initially... More

Where the energy from the sky meets the energy of the earth. Only a few minuts in Avebury and a heavy thunderstorm welcomes us in the middle of the stonecircle. Antoinette opend her doors for us. We had a very long deep sleep overthere in the little bedroom. The breakfast was homemade with lot of love. We learned a lot... More

The rooms are clean enough but the furnishings are dated with no TV or radio. Avebury is an area that demands a lot of walking and a sitting area where you could at least read would have been appreciated. Free Wifi was offered but I could not get a connection when I was there. The host, Antionette, can appear abrupt... More

Thank you for your review, it gives people the opportunity to know the state of the art in Avebury. No TV is my speciality, as it keeps down the vibrational pollution, I have so many interesting things here on offer that I have not missed TV in the 10 years I have been here. A radio is in the hall... More
