Stayed here for a single Monday night and as ever how I feel about a Travel Lodge room depends on price , location and convenience . This was a scruffy example - tired decor in need of refurbishment with several marks on the walls , cracked wardrobes and peeling wallpaper. It was , however , clean , reasonably sized and... More

If you can ignore the loud external noise (the second set of windows are open and can't be closed) you won't miss the drunks at 4am banging on your door and screaming down the hall for 30mins because they think it is funny (all caught in CCTV but nothing done until you go and complain). The bed is uncomfortable, the... More

Quite a few years since I last stopped here and it was really a very shabby place. I was pleasantly surprised on this visit that it had been refurbished and everything was looking better. At the price we got this for it represented good value for money. However, as in all Travelodge's in my opinion, the housekeeping staff let it... More

I've stayed here numerous times over the last 2 weeks as was working in Leeds centre. This Travelodge is so so much better than the last time i stayed. The refurbished rooms are great and the great thing with this Travelodge is the rooms are really spacious. The reception staff are lovely and really helpful. The location is great. Highly... More

My husband and I went to see Shrek the Musical at the Leeds Grand Theatre and this Travelodge looked to be very close and central. Positives first................ it was very close to the Grand, and all shops etc. Handy car park just across the road. Comfy bed and a decent breakfast (booked through Superbreak) Negatives......... We arrived at 1.10pm, and... More

This is my second visit to this hotel. I have paid in advance for two rooms and two breakfasts. Upon arrival the hotel asserts only one breakfast has been paid for despite what the invoice shows and the money having been debited out of my account. Sadly I have not brought the invoices with me and the hotel's computer says... More

Was given a great double room at the front of the building with 2 windows so lots of natural light. Only downside was the noisy road, especially after dark. May be some new double glazing needs to be installed to cut down on the disturbance. Otherwise super location for all that Leeds city centre has to offer.

Travelodge never fails to provide warm, comfortable and cheap accommodation however this property really could try to improve it's offering. Great location, ok if you are at the front it's a little noisy on a morning but being in a city centre I don't think anyone has any grounds to moan to much about this. No ventilation so just like... Booked this purely for its locality to Leeds City Centre. This fitted the bill perfectly. Hotel appeared to have just had a refurb so was nice and clean. Only negative I have is that room was hot during the night even with windows open, but this is the case when no air-con and taking into account the summer months. Would... More
