The hotel looked very dull from the outside and the charge for parking the car was £5 for one night. When we went to check in at the desk the girl told us that we would be getting our breakfast in a box outside our bedroom door although we did not need to leave the hotel until 9a.m. in the... more

In a bleak spot not too far from the airport, the hotel was clean and comfortable. However, be warned, there is a charge of £5 to park your car and no bar, cafe or restaurant on site. Although it is not too far to walk to the airport, the restaurant there closed at 7pm on the night we stayed, with... more

We paid £19 for a family room and were really impressed. I was almost put of booking by the reviews on here but I'm so glad I went ahead and booked anyway. The lady on reception was really friendly, and the room was clean. We heard no noise from the airport at all which surprised us. It was just a... more

Stayed here in August for one night with my family, receptionist very rude, did not care, the sofa bed was unmade for the children who have disabilities, went to reception to ask why the sofa bed was not made to be told it was not there policy we had to make it ourselves, I informed him there were no sheets... more

The main reason why I can't recommend this hotel is because sometime in the early hours of the morning a large group of young men started arguing amongst themselves (and on mobile phones) in the car park. There was also a car with several other young people involved. This went on for a good 30/40 minutes. Most of the arguing... more

Chose this hotel for its proximity to airport. 5 minutes walk to terminal building, had an early morning flight no designated transport from hotel to airport but short walk or if weather bad hotel would have called us a taxi. Rooms clean and adequate would use again. more

You can't go wrong here - its cheap, clean and comfortable. Typical travelodge standards and a stones throw from the airport. more

When booking this hotel, please be mindful of the following two things: 1) The car parking situation is a farce. It turns out it's not actually owned by the hotel and they will happily rip you off for £5 a night to park. The receptionists don't have any change so make sure you have 5 pound coins when booking in!... more

We stayed at the Travelodge for one night it is very close to the Airport so close in fact you can see the planes across the road from the window in the room but luckily you don't hear them.We paid £29 for a family room and then you pay £5 to park your car overnight. It was well worth the money... more

I've stayed in this hotel on a number of occasions when I have an early flight out. It's about a 10 minute walk up to the airport terminal. There is little by way of facilities at this hotel - no dining room or bar. I usualy eat before I get here or stroll up to the airport for breakfast. The... more
