We recently had our wedding reception at Peasehill House and found the whole experience fantastic, Jake and the team did an amazing job of delivering a day that was personal to us in every way. Right from the very first consultation through to the main event they couldn't do enough to help, we even received praise from the florist about... More

First impressions were of a very shabby room and furniture but at least it was clean...........although the shower cubicle was so badly stained it wasnt very tempting to step in. The worst issue for us was the traffic noise (very hot night window open) and the noise from the kitchen below the rooms. The kitchen staff thought it was ok... More

A late evening flight was delayed and we did not arrive at the hotel until almost midnight though had phoned to say we would be delayed. Thank you to the member of staff who kindly waited up for us and brought us to the room which was spotlessly clean and equipped with kettle, a variety of tea, coffee, hot chocolate... More

we stayed here for one night back in May of this year, and i have been meaning to leave a review ever since. the hotel is superb, it is a lovely little quaint place, the entrance is like walking into someones house, with a chair by the window. the car park is adequate and its only a stones throw from... Fab place. Great value for money. Food takes time buf worth the wait. Room and service excellent. Would stay again!!! Lovely. The room is gorgeous and as a female travelling on business alone i was made to feel very at ease and comfortable. I could choose a discrete table for evening meal and food was delicious !

I really find some comments of Peasehill House a bit of a puzzle . I go often and have NEVER had a bad meal yet. The price is excellent , 2 courses for £9 50 ? (Lunch menu) The food is fantastic, well presented and the whole place is lovely. Its clean, nicely decorated and staff are wonderful. So please... More

Staff were very friendly and courteous and helped us to our rooms. The rooms were quite modern, only quibble I had was that thee room was incredibly hot. Had all the windows open to get cool air in. The food was outstanding, a real turn up. I was staying with business and all the main hotel chains in the area... More

The hotel was very dated and the public areas neither looked or smelled particularly clean. The bedroom was better but the furniture was old, the ceiling coming down in one corner and the bed was very uncomfortable with a cheap mattress. The shower pressure was non-existent but was hot. We only saw one member of staff who was pleasant and... More

Booked my daughter in for one night. She was made to feel most welcome, her room was well stocked with all mod cons, including hot chocolate and biscuits which she loved before she went to bed. The room was quiet even though on the main road. The staff were most helpful and told us many places of interest to visit... More

I was a little apprehensive when I booked three nights at Peashill. Reviews were not ecstatic but the hotel was well placed for visiting my daughter and the room rate seemed reasonable. But oh dear, what a mistake! The hotel (or more probably the owners) are locked in a bygone era when customer satisfaction mattered little, or in this case,... More
