We both got married and held our wedding reception at the Peasehill House Hotel. It was all organised extremely well. I stayed at this hotel for almost a month (for business) a while back and had a wonderful time. The family that owns/runs the hotel and restaurant could not have been more accomodating to my needs. I'll begin with some qualifications: I like a restaurant to be warm and comfortable, the staff to be friendly, helpful and fun but not be overbearing and the food to taste as good as it looks (I sometimes wonder if this is not becoming a somewhat outdated attitude).
