Great Pub, Enjoyed A great friday evening here with my family! Buzzing atmosphere, excellent service & good Quality home cooked meals. The bar offers a great selection of local ales, and extensive wine list. The staff informed us that The pub is officially "England's oldest Inn" dating back to 953ad. It is full of character & history, the wood burning... More

We ate at the Trencherman's Bowl Restaurant with some friends who'd come to visit for a few days. We were welcomed with a lovely smile by a waitress and were shown to our table downstairs. The food was excellent and the service great. It was obvious we were not locals (we are all from the London/Essex area although my husband... More

My family and I went here for a birthday meal. The food was nice enough but the service was terrible. We waited about 30 minutes for the food to come and then when we had finished we sat for 15 minutes waiting for the table to be cleared. This was finally done but then they just ignored us for another... More

The Bingley Arms seems to be getting back on it's feet after somewhat losing the plot over the last year or so. Menu's attached to heavy roof slates, silly prices and the indian restaurant have all gone. They've gone back to serving good quality pub food at sensible prices and for that I can't fault the place. Long may it... More

i took my girlfriend here on a monday night with the intention of eating in the bingley arms as i heard it was the oldest pub in england. My husband and I visited this restaurant to enjoy a romantic meal after choosing from a few in the area. We booked a table in the english part of the restaurant ( they also have an indian part) and when we arrived , we went to the bar to get a drink. We asked the barman where we would be... More

The Bingley arms is a beautiful old traditional pub - from the outside! the interior is some what dark and not very welcoming, the staff are friendly enough, but all look like part time school kids. the garden is nice. we went for a sunday lunch, we were told on our previous visit by the manager that its chock a... The Bingley Arms is reported to be the oldest pub in England. History of the pub dates back to 905AD and there is evidence all around the pub which proves this. The Landlord is a wealth of information regarding the pub and it's history and is more than willing to share his knowledge with anyone who is willing to listen.... More
