It goes without saying that I am dissappointed that on this occasion your enjoyment was disrupted by the boiler failure to one section of the hotel. Travelled to the Chevin hotel for a four night stay for my birthday at the start of January and was constantly impressed with the hotel. We stayed here over the Christmas period 2009 and had an excellent time. The hotel is well run, staff very well motivated and really care about putting any litttle thing right or even better. We had our wedding here in August 2009. We had booked almost 2 years in advance and in the time building up to the wedding we saw a few wedding co-ordinators come and go. Difficult to find - remember the post code for your sat.nav. first! It took us 30 minutes + wandering about the moors at dusk. Take a tip - set off early in order that you arrive in daylight hours. We stayed at the Chevin Park Hotel one wet and misty November weekend, so didn't get the benefit of the lovely grounds. However, we had a great weekend. We stayed here thanks to a special offer, having previously stayed at another hotel within the group.
