Can't really complain for the price we paid £20 each for a night at this hotel. The owners were lovely! The hotel was a bit old fashioned but what do you expect for such a low price. If I ever came back to Leeds I would defiently come back to this hotel!

Stayed here for one night as we needed to be in the area. The hotel has seen better times. The room we had was dirty, I would not use the shower as the bath needed a good scrubbing, the toilet also was a put off. We did not take anything out of our bags as the drawers, cupboards and shelves... More

We needed a room for the night and we cannot complain about what we got. George was very friendly and looked after us. The rooms may be dated but the host made up for any of the problems with his hospitality. If you are after somewhere for a night to get some sleep then at this price you just can't... More

I stayed at the Adriatic whilst my husband was in St James Hospital. Ok, so the place is in need of modernisation but what I got in hospitality more than made up for fancy rooms etc. I was alone when I stayed here and felt vulnerable and alone at first. However, George and his lively wife were so welcoming and... More

A group of 6 of us stayed here for a night for my friends birthday. Upon arrival we were shocked and quite freaked out by the look of the hotel. We had a lovely welcoming and the couple who own the hotel are very nice and pay attention to specific needs eg. booking taxis, takeaways and even offered to provide... More

We have ongoing works at the Woodhouse Tunnel and were looking for a low cost hotel. The hotel has a large alarmed car park suitable for high top vehicles. The hotel is family run by George, his wife Mika and their son Alex who have really made us feel welcome. We work nights so our breakfast and dinner times are... More

Not sure what hotel other reviewer where reporting on but this place should not be open. Long wait in reception for staff Very dated decor, thread bare carpets All bedroom doors propped open with chairs on arrival Bedroom doors not lockable Beds well not fit to be slept in We didn't even put our bags down we just left.

I’m so sorry that you were disappointed by your experience with us, I do wish that you had approached us with your concerns. I apologise for the one minute 40 seconds wait at reception. The decor of the hotel is as with the pictures on Expedia, the channel you used to book and judgement could of been made then. We... More

I have stayed in many places and for me, some hostels would beat this hotel hands down. This place needs a total updating to this century and those saying it is basic are wrong, it's far from it and will shock you. It's organized but not clean and location is good if you have a car or can splash money... More

Thank you for your review, your comments have been noted. I would like to add that pictures of the hotel clearly show what our decor is like on our listing with Laterooms.com and therefore makes me wonder why you booked with us if that décor is not to your liking? I’m not sure what facilities you require, all our rooms... More

We went to Leeds for the weekend to see a band, all city centre hotels with parking were very expensive so we choose the Adriatic. Plenty of parking,But the hotel itself was Indeed of a update but it was clean. staff very polite with a good size bar and restaurant. About a 40 min walk to city centre. Bus stop... More

Recently stayed here for a friends birthday. As previously mentioned, it is an olde worldy hotel but it's clean and the staff are excellent. George is the manager and he and his wife were very welcoming, booked us taxis and gave us free shots before we went out. Amazing hosts. Area is not the best but let's be honest it's... More
