Well after reading all the reviews on here the day before I was expecting the worst, but I have stayed in worse places before. The man on reception was very polite and when we asked for a recommendation of where to eat, he suggested an AMAZING curryhouse five minutes walk away. It was the highlight of the trip, if only... more

Arrived and was shown the basement room - which was like a prison cell. Asked to be moved and was given the Abbey Room (sounds impressive but wasn't). The room was smelly, dirty, dingy, dark and more!!!! Menu Food on the Bounday Hotel website was complete lies. No buffet breakfast (so there was no 'all you can eat'). I ordered... more

The hotel was fantastic. when we arrived we were a little confused as the reception was in the hotel next door. we were greeted by and oldish blonde lady who seemed quite blunt and rude to us, she was the only member of staff we saw durin our stay. more

By far and away the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I still can't believe how bad the room was. Dirty. If you get a basement room ask to move - in fact do not book this place AT ALL! more

Having booked the hotel for one night prior to the 1 Day Cricket International we arrived fearing the worse after reading the reviews. The location was brilliant for Headingley. We had a room at the top of the hotel with shared facilities which were clean with plenty hot water.. The room was perfectly adequate, clean bedding and a view of... more

Had a pretty terrible stay, thin walls mean you can hear everybody else and their TV's; doors banging all night and worst of all was the smell of dope being smoked. more

I took a single for 2 nights, & it was pretty basic, but reasonably clean. Really handy for Headingley cricket ground or the rugby as it is literally 2 mins round the corner. Not keen on the idea of settling your bill on arrival, dont find this very trusting, but the best bit of the stay is the "great yorkshire breakfast",... more
