We visited 42 The Calls during the Easter Weekend. We were welcomed by the friendly staff and complementary glass of wine. The room was nice and cosy, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had everything one can may need from soft towels to soaps and body moisturizers. The Hotel is very central, one can explore central Leeds easily.... More

Well a thoroughly enjoyable stay, check in was dealt with quickly, with a complimentary glass of wine which was a nice touch. The room was comfy, clean, a large bathroom, and a very powerful shower, gave a view out on to the river which was great. I do however have to agree with other reviewers the room was a bit... More

This is a lovely quirky and individual hotel which has some lovely touches but needs a bit of tlc to bring it up to standard. It wasn't an issue for us but the lift seems to work sporadically, the main issue is the decor of the rooms. The cream armchair was a bit grubby on the arms, the throw on... More

Stayed here for a week in March. Greeted with warm welcome from the reception staff. Rooms are all quirky and extremely comfortable. Breakfast is good with a wide selection. I would certainly recommend No42 to anybody looking for a hotel in Leeds.

This is a lovely boutique hotel. We came for a stay the night before valentines day and I contacted the hotel before via email and asked them to give me a list of things available to put in the room for a surprise. Their list was fab - even included rose petals, chocolates and half bottles of wine. I loved... More

This hotel is in a converted warehouse by the river, and has retained many original features in order to make the rooms more interesting in shape. I stayed on business for four nights, at £70/night without breakfast. Things got off to a bad start when I was asked for £50/night authorisation in case of charges but this was reduced to... More

We were looking for something different from the standard corporate hotel room and selected this hotel based on it's reputation as Leeds' first boutique hotel and a winter offer of £70 for a deluxe room. Whilst the hotel has fallen on some hard times recently and newer hotels offer more luxury we still felt this was excellent value for money... More

We recently spent a lovely weekend in this hotel. On arrival we got a complimentary glass of wine and a complimentary upgrade to a Directors Room, overlooking the river. Lovely spacious room with all the original features. Excellent service. Excellent breakfast - both variety and quality - probably the best I have had. We would highly recommend it!

We stayed here for 2 nights, paying £127 for room only for the 2 nights, which is excellent value. It cost another £80 for parking and breakfasts. During the week it seems about double this price, which would make it good, rather than excellent value. (Note about parking: the website says 'ample parking', which is disingenuous, as it is a... Great small hotel in a fantastic location. Lovely service, interesting decor and the room was pleasantly decorated too. No electric sockets in the main part of the room which was a little inconvenient but other than that, great. Would definitely stay again.
