There's a lot to like about this place, primarily the price and the service. I was paying around £35 for an en suite single room for reference. Breakfast was generally good and tasty and served by pleasant, attentive staff. The downsides come almost entirely from the incredibly tight budget the guest house has been built to which I'm sad to... More

we booked this BnB as we were on a night out in Leeds and wanted somewhere cheap to stay. It cost us £50 to stop in a room where I got hardly any sleep! The staff were friendly, so no problems there, but the noise was horrific. We didnt have breakfast as we didnt get in until the early hours,... More

From 16th of November until 23rd of November I stayed in Avalon. I had a good experience there. The staff are very kind and accommodating. The bedroom was very comfortable and everything was very clean. The breakfast was delicious and you get a lot. I definitely recommend this place.

Me and my boyfriend were staying in this B&B as we wanted to be close to the town. Good location but not worth it for the price. The beds were very uncomfortable just like sleeping on a rock, the bathroom was very small and when you walked into the room you had to open the window as it smelt of... More

I was visiting my postgraduate 'Alma Mater' for 24 hours --after forty years-- and chose Avalon Guest House for its great location. My idea was to be able to walk the campus, visit my old student residence which was just up the road on Springfield Mount and feel as i felt 4 decades ago. I was given room 8 which... More

Stayed for 1 night as we were going to see a gig at the first direct arena. It's only £3.80 in a taxi from the hotel to the arena so handy for city centre. Welcomed by friendly efficient staff, shown to a clean room with a reasonable amount of space. Flat screen tv (small) with freeview, hair dryer, nice bathroom... More

Stayed for 2 nights 24th and 25th July 2013 whilst visiting my daughter in Leeds. Thought the location was very convenient to town and suburbs and easy to find by car. Also it was great to be able to leave the car when we needed to. We chose the room to the left of the front door which was large... More

With a friend of mine I stayed 3 days, enjoying the guest house, the breakfast and in particular Siryia's kindness! Siryia is one of the staff members: she helped us, gave us all the necessary info to get around Leeds.
