My partner and I recently spent a weekend at the Queens and had another great trip. We always try to book this hotel as the location right next to the train station is fantastic and the breakfast is brilliant. We find the Staff always to be really helpful and friendly. We parked at the Train Station long stay car park... More

I booked a room at The Queens for my partners birthday as a surprise as I have visited a few times and always had a pleasant stay and lovely rooms. I arrived on Friday and checked in (very pleasant staff, as always). The room I entered 230 had stained bedding, quite visible and a dirty bath so I requested to... More

Stayed here for an anniversary weekend. Hotel in good location for shops, bars & restaurants. Room very spacious & clean. Breakfast good & very good staff at breakfast. The staff that do the valet parking are also very nice & friendly. Down points- the bar has no atmosphere and the staff chase you pay cash for your drinks straight away... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed here on the 24/8/14 which was a surprise for me. First impressions where that the hotel is absolutely stunning!! Well worth the price with all the facilities on off (my bf was very impressed with the men's hairdressers) The staff are also the most welcoming and helpful people I have come across in a hotel... We stayed at the Queens for a weekend (22-24 August) for our wedding anniversary, our choice was perfect. We love Art Deco anyway so the fact the hotel is styled from this era was great. I found no evidence of anything worn out or tired, either in the public rooms or our bedroom. Everything was immaculate and in good order... More

Spent one night on 23 August as a birthday jaunt. Hotel is so central for sightseeing and the excellent shopping available in this Knightsbridge of the North. Excellent quick and friendly check in to Art Deco ambience ( Hotel designed by same people who did Dorchester in London) Rooms on 7th floor with memorable views of city centre. Bedrooms huge... More

Midland hotels are often very good but this one was a disappointment. The entrance area wasn't at all welcoming and certainly not a place to sit and sip wine or a cocktail whilst enjoying the ambience - such as at Manchester's opulent Midland Hotel. The location is good (next to the train station) with Leeds centre on the doorstep and... More

Dear Tricia G Thank you for taking the time to post a review of your stay, I was sorry to learn that you were not entirely satisfied. I went for a cigarette at 4am this morning after returning from an evening at the (rather muddy) leeds festival.. Not wanting to drag mud through the hotel, I went downstairs fully clothed but minus my muddy shoes. I was ushered to the side as soon as i stepped outside.. That was fine.. Until another concierge turned up and tried... More

Stayed here several times for a number of reasons. Its central location within the city and you are always guaranteed the same level of service and quality on each occasion.
