Stayed at the Queens hotel for 1 Saturday night - on their 'sensational saturday' promotion; just £60 for the room, plus a complimentary bottle of wine & free cooked breakfast. No problems - clean room & helpful staff. Given the hotel's central location, difficult to see how things could have been better. Will definitely return. more

Stayed here for two nights over a weekend after getting a special deal on Lastminute.com. We paid £120 upfront for Saturday and Sunday nights including breakfast which was a steel! On arrival, the concierge very rapidly got rid of the car for us and check-in was extremely good, with friendly and welcoming staff. As a wedding was ongoing, we asked... more

We went to Leeds on a road trip without booking, and expected to stay in the Raddison as we have stayed there before. However, it was full! They recommended The Queens, so off we went. Old fashioned art deco theme, very nice indeed. Clean, and very big inside, like a Vegas hotel. Nice bar area, old fashioned, in keeping with... more

After a lifetime of passing by this hotel I actually stayed for the first time at 50 years of age. The Queens used to have a reputation for being a bit tatty - but it has undergone refurbishment and interior transformation into a faux art decor habitation which is welcoming and interesting (those lift doors, I know, have been there... more

I've stayed here twice in the past couple of years, I'm originally from Leeds and know it well from childhood visits to the Carvery (sadly no longer there). It's not the flashest hotel in Leeds but I was made to feel so welcome, I would go back anytime I needed a hotel in Leeds again. The first time we stayed... more

This hotel looks nice and equisite from the outside but on the inside its a whole different story. The rooms are very dull and dated. the staff are not very friendly or helpful which is very disconcerting considering the reputation of the hotel. I did not find that it provided any value for money. On a good note, It is... more

Booked a last minute deal online with Superbreak for a single room on higher floor, was given a big twin room 427 on 4th floor at rear of hotel- very quiet which is amazing as its right next door to the station. Lovely art deco interior, and room was well equipped, clean, comfy bed, lots of space . Had a... more

Got a good deal for 2 nights with dinner on first night so wasn't expecting much so was pleasantly surprised Nice architecture- Art Deco(ish) which has been sympathetically restored and the rooms were very nice Usual overpriced drinks etc and I wasn't keen on the bar much (nice room but I felt quite characterless). Didn't try room service etc so... more

I was staying here with my daughter to visit the University of Leeds and wanted a central location, close to restaurants, and especially to the train station. Check-in at 8:30PM went very smoothly, the young woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. She arranged for our first night's free dinner at 8:45PM, which I appreciated because I... more

Well in January 09 we decided to take a weekend break to leeds, after searching around came across the Queens. I can't praise this hotel enough, a nice warm welcoming and a great central location situated right next to the trainstation. The easiest way to find the hotel is follow the signs for the trainstation. There is valet parking although... more
