I stayed at this hotel for two nights on business. The hotel is situated on the Leeds ring road miles from anywhere of note with nothing within walking distance. It is situated in an area where there is nothing worth seeing and looks as if it could be a bit dodgy after dark. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating.... more

This ramada hotel is ok. We didnt try the breakfast as the other reviews stated that it was pretty standard. The best part about this hotel is that the parking is free, and it is on the ring road, so getting around leeds is pretty quick. That said, check in was fine, not a problem at all, on check out,... more

Hotel was fine. Do not use the phone under any circumstances. My mum's mobile phone wasn't working and she was charged 40 pounds for a 9 minute call. They also tried to charge her a connection fee on top of this amount which amounted to 10 quid on calls that never actually went through. This is daylight robbery. What phone... more

Room was fine, must have been in one of the refurbished rooms. Everything you would expect, bed was ok, nothing great. Good Shower. The TV seemed to be programmed to take money from you, every time you turned it on, it tried to sell you movies etc. Getting BBC1 takes about 5 buttons! Restaurant is a DISASTER. Chairs were uncomfortable,... more

We came to visit our son who's at college in Leeds and wanted to stay somewhere inexpensively. We found the Ramada online and thought we would give it a go. After reading all the reviews (after we had booked) I was a little hesitant, but I need not have worried. Our room was spotlessly clean, great shower, good TV, warm... more

Just attended the marriage of my niece. What a fiasco and a total runination of a very special event. 1st up, even though her parents had booked the venue some 10 months ago including the bridal suite, they were advised just about as soon as arriving to the reception that the room had been double booked and they were offered... more

I stayed here for one night when I was in the area on business - but I wish I hadn't bothered. It's quite a way out from the station, so a taxi can be fairly expensive, especially if you are travelling at peak times. Service at the hotel reception was OK, but not particularly efficient and the staff sounded as... more

Well the expectations of this as a business venue were high- after all they describe the meeting rooms as Summit Rooms- I guess we were lucky to get the booking - the EU leaders had to meet elsewhere to discuss the Irish vote on the Lisbon treaty My edition of Tom Tom took me straight there but others ended up... more

I was in Leeds for a business meeting so decided to give this hotel a go owing to the good reviews that it had. Certainly for the money the hotel itself was good value. However, I had 3 particularly unplesant experiences whilst here. Firstly, as I arrived I was greeted by a very friendly receptionist, check in fine. Got to... more

I went to stay at the hotel with my partner and 2 friends for my partners birthday. After staying here previously, around a year ago, we decided to come back, we had enjoyed our stay, but it could have been better! Why come back i hear you ask?? Close to family and easy access to York. But i must say... more
