Pros - clean room, complimently toiletries, loads of pillows, really central, close to bars/station/shopping Cons - paid extra for a king size room which was 2 3/4 beds put together, really noise, ridiculously hot and windows don't open (almost pointless ceiling fan provided), shower changes hot and cold. Doubt I would use this hotel again.

The king size beds are purpose built zip and link beds that are designed to have multiple functions and used by the majority of hotels. On joining they should be seamless and they are joined at the base and mattress and I am sorry that this was not to your liking. The heating system is temperature controlled although some rooms... I'm going to get the one negative out of the way first....the location of the hotel is perfect for a night out however when all the bars and clubs kick out the noise is unbelievable, taxi horns blaring, police sirens, people screaming and shouting....this is not a criticism of the Hotel itself but of the double edged sword location !!!... Short walk from station, in main bar area and very close to shops. Good breakfast and helpful staff, rooms OK - I was lucky and had a large corner one. Could just do with some redecorating - nothing too major, just a little dates round the edges. On a main crossroads but no problem with nose

We stayed in the "king" room room 303. Oh my days if I ever have to stay in a room or hotel like that again I might possibly cry. The bed was comfy. Sheets were clean. However I felt like I was in some sort of time warp. The blue and yellow carpets in the halls. The stench of stale... More

It is so disappointing to read such poor critique of the hotel and I am at a loss as to why, in reading your review, why nothing was mentioned checking in to your room, during your stay and not even at check out. Customer service is very important to the Hotel and to read such feedback without the opportunity to... More

I booked two nights at this hotel in an executive room on a room only basis. I usually stay over the road at the Malmaison but it was full. On arrival we where asked if we would like to pre book breakfast for the following morning at a reduced rate of £7 per person which we accepted. The room was... More

Thank you for your review and I am sorry that the Hotel was not to your liking. There appears to be some confusion over the room service charge as this only applies if you are ordering from the actual room service menu. We certainly do not charge to deliver extra tea/coffee and milk to a room. Breakfast is served, when... More

Rooms are fine. Nothing fantastic, but (should) do the job. Unfortunately the rooms aren't suitable for sleeping in. There is 0 sound proofing, so the various fights going on outside (and the argument in the room next door) kept me wide awake. Probably fine for a stag/hen do (if you are dunk enough to pass out) but no chance of... More

The hotel is popular with both commercial business traveller and leisure guests and we are unable to source the reason for any given guests stay. At the weekends our central location is ideal but with our excellent location, sadly there is the drawback that on occasions the rooms located on the front of the hotel can be affected by street... Staff are friendly and the hotel is convenient for shops and bars. The room was quite nice but if you stay here ask for a room away from the fire escape as it is noisy due to the flu I assume. Guests coming in in the early hours kept us awake as there is a lot of sound transfer betweens... More

On the positive it is a great central location in the centre of Leeds close to the station, shops and bars. Staff were professional polite and friendly. The room was OK about the standard of a travelodge but no better. Soft furnishings dated and tired, bathroom was old fashioned dodgy trickleflow shower and scabby silicoln needs attention. Radiators and towel... More

Thank you for responding to my personal message and I am delighted that your colleague will be with us next week and that you will consider returning to us in the future. Unfortunately on this occasion you were allocated one of our older rooms and although clean may have been seen as dated. The noise of the bins was, as... More

First visit to this Hotel, chose because of value for money & location. About 15 mins walk to First Direct Arena. Nice Hotel, friendly helpful staff, very good breakfast & plenty of choice. Clean comfortable room, only gripe no mattress protector. Would stay again as positives outway any negatives.

Receptionist very professional on arrival and found us a room that was ready early. Small budget double, but very clean. Only problem was window doesn't open and it was warm, but there was a ceiling fan so was okay. Represents excellent value for money in a city centre. Only a 15 minute walk to First Direct Arena where we were... More
