Quiet hotel in the centre of Leeds. Cosy room. Comfy bed. Piping hot power shower. Lovely friendly staff and a complimentary glass of wine on arrival! For the price....couldnt have asked for more!!! Will return again for pleasure rather than business I hope! :)

the cleaners have absolutely no respect for people trying to sleep, shouting, banging around and laughing. very annoying. the rooms had no heating but the front desk were more than willing to bring up a heater when asked. overall quite good, just disrespectful cleaning staff!

I stay regularly as a female business traveller. Great little hotel, always friendly staff, rooms in great condition, warm and clean and bathroom always well stocked, clean, hot water etc. Breakfasts great. Highly recommend, especially for women travelling alone who want to feel safe and comfortable - have stayed in some other hotels in Leeds that definitely didn't deliver that!... More

Ignore anyone who has moaned about silly things. My partner and I stayed here for 1 night 05/04/2014 and the staff were friendly, the lift was out of order but we didn't mind the 3 flights up. The bedroom was a small double room, cheap but actually fine condition. Comfortable bed, alright bathroom, just could do with a little updating... More

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE ANY NOTICE OF THE BAD REVIEWS. This Hotel is lovely, the decor was not tiresome and outdated. My room was quiet and spacious but most of very clean. You could see your reflection in the tiles of the bathroom. There were NO dust ball or dirty linen. The towels smelt clean and were lovely and fluffy,... More

We stayed over the weekend and had a twin room. The staff were very helpful and pleasant but unfortunately that's where the positives end. The room itself was very dated with holes filled with plaster on the wallpaper and the bathroom was from the 70's. It really needed a good clean, especially in the bathroom where it looked like new... More

We stayed at the Cosmopolitan on a Friday & Saturday night. The lift was broken. Our room was in need of urgent modernisation and a deep clean. The bathroom needed replacing it had obviously been subject to regular water damage! We had no hot water on the Friday evening. The bar & restaurant area were very nice compared to the... More

Thank you for your review and I am sorry that although certain aspects of your stay were enjoyable your overall expectations were not met. I was delighted to read that you found the staff to be professional and friendly. The hotel is refurbishing bedrooms currently and we are modernising them to match the high standard of our public areas. The... More

I shuddered when this was the only hotel I could find on a recent business trip to Leeds - all others were full. The reason for shuddering was that I stayed at this place many years ago when it was known as something else and had a horrid experience. BUT..IT IS MUCH BETTER NOW! It must have been taken over... Had to stay in Leeds overnight and The Cosmopolitan was probably the best priced central hotel. Close to the train station and Leeds City Centre which I needed the next day. Very good value for money I had booked room only and added breakfast on check in for a discounted rate. Breakfast was a nice selection of the usual suspects... More
