Stayed here numerous times. Excellent friendly staff, rooms a bit hit and miss some are excellent others average. Rooms can get a bit warm but overall advise to stay here.
A reasonable hotel for a midweek stay. Reception was friendly.
They really try - everything you could want is there - shower gel, shampoo, bathrobes, tea, coffee etc.
I couldn't get any joy from the WiFi.
The property is a little tired. The bathrooms could do with a bit of maintenance and a deep clean.
I chose the continental breakfast...

The trip to Leeds was to meet up with friends and stay overnight in a central hotel prior to a uni interview. Booked through Last Minute - I foolishly upgraded. Upon arrival, my booking hadn't gone through so I was offered, and in desperation accepted, the room I would have had on the original, far cheaper, booking - but no...

Nowhere on any website does it say that the hotel hosts a transvestite/cross dressing evening on the first Friday of every month. Don't really have a problem with this however its the first time I've ever encountered toilets with a dress code. Men dressed as ladies were able to use the ladies toilets I found this intimidating. When my husband...

Stayed here for a single night. Pleasant welcome with a glass of wine - nice touch. Rooms have been done up although they still retain some tired elements. Bed was comfortable. Unfortunately I could hear every sound from the next room and the traffic noise during the night was bad, and I wear earplugs. There was no curtain, just a...

I needed a hotel at the very last minute and so booked into the Cosmopolitan Hotel. The check in was easy and quick and as it was quite late this was appreciated.
The location is in the heart of Leeds gay friendly quarter and very close to the popular Call Lane for bars and clubs. It's a great place to...

Spent Saturday night in a single executive room. Hotel located close to the train station which was very handy. Check in was very smooth and the assistant very helpful. Happy to recommend a location for dinner close by. Price was good value and would stay again happily.
Booked for a weekend away. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Reasonable choice for breakfast and the dining area was very pleasant. Also, ate there in the evening and had a very good value meal on both evenings. Room was spacious and well-appointed but quite warm (had the fan on and window open for entire stay). My only real...

I bought Groupon deal for 6 people as a birthday treat for a friend. We weren't disappointed, our table was set ready for us, and we were offered our champagne immediately. As we sipped this I could see the chef preparing our 3 tiered tea plates. He took time and trouble, to set the teas out prettily.
We were offered...

I stay away a fair bit, especially in Leeds so I've done my rounds. Whilst this hotel is old and rooms a little tired, the staff and the restaurant are great. Shirts I've left on the bed and accidentally put in the washing have even been returned. A level of service and friendliness you just don't get at a large...
