Stayed in this hotel with colleagues to attend a conference/awards dinner. The same dingy, dark room was used for the conference and dinner the same evening, and we were startled to come down to breakfast to find the same windowless room servine as "restaurant". It is like eating in the school hall, with unattractive partitioning half way along, and badly... More

Last minute night out decision one friday late January. Super super deal for this hotel, for the first time it was actually very reasonably comparible rates to other establishments. Turns out they are promoting fridays when it is quieter trying to fill up the place a little. Have to admit this is the best hotel I have stayed in, supposidly... More

Good location, just a few 100 mtrs from the the main Leeds railway station and city shopping/eating etc. Rooms good size and facilities as expected for the price. Restaurant very busy and needs to be booked, Bar is comfortable but not staffed as well as it could be, I needed several trips to reception to ask for service during the... More

Hotel is in a fantastic location, just a five minute walk from the train station, and directly across the street from a complex of shopping and restaurants. The rooms are good, and appear to have been renovated a few years ago. They also have a very nice Executive Lounge. More

I stayed here whilst on business last year for the night. Like all Marriott hotels these days, everything is very efficient, the rooms are a good size, the beds are very comfortable and it's over all not too bad value. If you're in Leeds on business or for pleasure and want a well situated, nice hotel, you wont go far... More

I stayed here for 4 nights on business. The staff at reception was ever helpful. The rooms were quite large for Euro-standards. Bathrooms a little dated, but perfectly functional. Halal restaurant in back of hotel is pretty tasty. Located in the city centre, lots of shopping and dining within walking distance. Hall noise made it's way a little too easily... More

we had a 3 night from 9th December and had a good weekend. The hotel is very good and the food was excelent, the one drawback is the bar prices, £13 for 2 small glasses of Rose wine, rather excessive. More

Booked in before Christmas and when I arrived the hotel was in chaos. Guest eating in the restaurant while staff try and set up an exhibition in there. I was told by the staff that there was a conference in the hotel. Fair enough. Then I was told that the restaurant was shut for three days for that. Oh and... More

Exceptional for a Marriott category 4 hotel (previous experience at Windsor category 4 was not good). Service is relaxed but very attentive. Very impressed. More
