We booked for this hotel with last minute.com on the 'secret rooms' part getting a Sat night for £50 instead of £76. I was dumb struck when I opened the door to the room ! It was approx 12ft c 12ft with a 3 quarter bed pushed into the corner! This was meant to be a double standard room. We... More

Stayed here for 2 nights 28th and 29th of February 2012. The room had everything I needed. It was very dated and on the 4th floor. I know some of the rooms have been refurbished but this was not one of them. There was plenty of space and the bed was comfortable. All a bit pointless when it's so noisy,... More

We booked a two night bed and breakfast, with dinner on the first night. Check in was easy as we had prepaid. We had room 214 on the second floor. The room was clean and had everything we needed, but was very small and dark. It looks out onto a tiny inner square of the hotel and gets little light... More

The hotel reception area is lovely, check in staff very helpfull. We stayed in room 222 which was clean but very small with the smallest double bed i have ever seen. Rooms are in desperate need of a referb. Luckily i had brought ear plugs as you can hear every noise from other rooms and the floor boards squeak very... More

I have just stayed here for one night for my friend's wedding which was taking place at the hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful especially as we have 2 children so had several requests for baby equipment. The room was clean, spacious and well presented with a lovely big bathroom. The decor and presentation of the hotel is... More

My husband and I stayed here for a few days as we are planning to re-locate north. The hotel is a five minute walk away from Leeds train station which is handy. The lobby area looks fantastic and the exterior of the hotel is great too. The rooms however, are a little dated. We stayed in room 124 which was... More

Stayed for 1 night after company travel dept booked me into hotel near Leeds station. Very clean and well presented, including the room. Excellent location close to city Center and station. Traditional style building, probably be there for another 200 years! Had dinner - presented well but over priced and average food compared to lots of other local establishments. Breakfast... More

We stayed at this hotel on the "2 nights and one Meal" Package deal... We checked into the hotel quite late (9pm-ish) and as a result of this got put up on the 6th floor.
