Stayed here for one night in January 2014. We had a very clean and spacious room, it was lovely! We had breakfast in the morning which was ok. The atmosphere seemed to be better on an evening rather than during the morning, apart from that - no complaints!

Have never written a review before but as I lay in my hotel bed here, unable to sleep, I feel the need to.... My room is on the 4th floor...unless you're on the ground floor, then there's no wifi! Extremely inconvenient when you're here for work and need to access emails/internet to do so! The room is clean, but dated... More

This hotel is situated less than 5 mins walk from Leeds train station. The check in and check out process was excellent, front desk staff was friendly, excellent knowledge of local area. Reception called us a taxi in the evening and let us knows when it was outside. Our room was fine and the bed was very comfortable. It was... More

Stayed awhile ago and never bothered to review it as didn't want to be over critical. The hotel first of all in right in the city centre and is so convenient for everything. Was staying to be on a course with work so checked in by myself , was paying a rate for room only for about 79 pound which... More

I had a lovely stay at The Met last week. The staff were welcoming, friendly & eager to help me find my feet in Leeds. The reception team directed me to several shops I needed & Kat even offered to pop out get me for the toothpaste I'd forgotten as the hotel had run out. The room was small but... More

I stayed at The Met after an event I had run in Leeds. Therefore I was really tired and looking forward to a good night's sleep. I got back to my room really late on the Friday night to a lovely quiet hotel. The hotel is always clean and the room didn't disappoint. My bed was nicely made and felt... More

Adequate accom', even if the shaver socket didn't work. The room service menu was very limited. Surprised the hotel bar closed by after 11pm Pokey room in what was obviously an old large room split in to two. Not great unless you like listening to what your fellow guests are up to. Plus been woken by the kitchen/bins activity at... More

We stayed on 5 December. ... Duty Manager was excellent and tried to resolve our wifi problem, but without joy. The bar was very poor, no decent wine and no cocktail menu. There was no French Martini and White Russians....why would a hotel have limited bar... The senior receptionist and assistant did not acknowledge us in the w owning when... More
