Was very disapointed. The room was looking tired, floor was dirty. Beds old and tired. The bacon at breakfast was undercooked and slimy. nobody would eat it was left in a pile.
The staff who are normally happy in there work looked fed up, later we learnt this was due to a change in manager. The old manger was always there to Great the customer in a morning and make you feel welcomed.
New policy that your card is charged the day before your stay, this was never the case and we were paying cash on arrival but only to find we were too late the money had been taken out of our account with no warning.
No sausages for breakfast was told 10 minutes, great I will just hang around then.
Go to Garforth its more but there is a reason.
Breakfast is worth £5 only
The double sofa bed was very very uncomfortable. As you will see from my photos - the ‘mattress’ for it was mega thin. So thin that when I laid on it, I could feel the metal and wood underneath which made for an uncomfortable night. Two singles would have been much better or failing that, a better quality sofa bed available.
Breakfast was super and the price we got for the room was good value. The hotel is some way out of Leeds City Centre so if you want to be in the middle of all the action, I’d choose somewhere closer. If you can commute, this hotel’s location is fine.
There is a Toby Carvery next door to use which is a bonus.
Good value for money and included breakfast
Great hotel with excellent staff, friendly service , clean and comfortable rooms.
Would be happy to stay here again.
Complimentary breakfast and free parking facilities.
The Xscape centre is about 15 min away and has a good choice of restaurants.
