Stayed for one night with my wife and what a great location. Very handy for either Leeds city centre or Headingley (if you are a cricket fan!). The rooms were very clean and tidy and the bed comfortable. Everybody we met was extremely polite and friendly. Will certainly be staying there again when we are next in the area.

The hotel is in a Catholic Pastoral and Conference Center some miles from Leeds center. Around the hotel is a large garden which makes it quiet with a main road nearby. There are frequent buses to the center but you can also walk there in about 30 minutes. The room was nice and clean with a small desk, TV and... More

I stayed at Hinsley hall 3 or four nights a week for 3 weeks in a row , whilst on business in Leeds ( a 10 min walk away) in Jan/feb 2015 . I originally chose Hinsley hall for its close proximity to where I was working , as well as its value for money - I liked what I... More

Dear Guest Thank you for your kind review, and I hope that you will have another opportunity to visit Hinsley Hall. In late March, we put TVs into all our bedrooms and all offer freeview channels on wall-mounted flatscreen TVs. We are currently talking to several companies about how we can improve our wi-fi. Unfortunately, with the mobile telephone system,... More

Hinsley Hall is only a ten minute drive to city centre but it is set in a stunning historic hall in beatiful gardens. The staff are friendly and helpful. The phone signal (EE) is next to none and the free Wifi is weak in the rooms. Tea and coffee facilities are in a public kitchen area, I would have preferred... More

This place has some resemblance to an upmarket backpackers but for £55 we had spotless accommodation and big breakfast included. I imagine it could get noisy when games are on as it is so close to the stadium. We did get a twin room but that didn't concern us. The staff are wonderful and were so helpful over and above... I stayed for two nights with a group of friends. The food is tasty and the bar well stocked. The staff are friendly and helpful. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. Hinsley Hall is a conference centre with a religious background so not the place for a rave but well worth a try if you want a quiet time in a facility... More

I wasn't sure what to expect. But as soon as I arrived I was pleasantly pleased by the lovely large gardens and ease of parking. Its close to the centre of Leeds but is faraway off from the road to make it very tranquil. I was met by the reception staff all very friendly. My room even though was a... More

My husband booked a night here for a birthday getaway. Upon arriving we were given the keys to a twin room. However upon request we were swapped to a double room which was much more spacious, clean and warm. We spent the night in the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. Breakfast was more than adequate. Tea and... More

Stayed there for on night as going to test match. Rooms are basic but clean and comfy and best was more comfy than some hotels we have stayed in. Tea facilities along corridor so no problem. CLose to pubs and restaurants. Just 10 mins walk from Headingly cricket ground and even after we checked out the guy on reception said... More

Could not believe our luck in stumbling across Hinsley Hall on the Internet. We needed a B&B near the city center so we could visit patient in Leeds Infirmary. 4 different buses stop at the end of the driveway so avoided the nightmare of parking at the hospital. Definitely not a full service hotel, but perfect for our needs. Clean,... More
