The bed creaked and groaned on every turn. Had to pad mattress with a duvet. Bedding was full of holes, it was so worn out. Room was dirty. Dust in corners and on various ledges. Tile grout was black not white. When mirror steamed up you could see messages left by previous guests. Other guests could clearly be heard. We... More

Thank you for your review 525Haz. We are truly sorry to learn that your stay with us was not enjoyable. During the daily room checks, all mattresses and beds that are found to not be fit for purpose should be replaced and the Hotel Manager notified of the situation. Similarly, our cleaning staff follow a strict routine in the cleaning... More

This Travelodge was easy to find and well placed for touring the area. On arrival we were made welcome by the receptionist who was very pleasant and amongst the best we have met anywhere. The room was clean and well presented. There was little road noise due to a double window system, but there was some noise from the ventilation... More

Had a fab room with a little grassed area outside. The room was very clean and of an older style but this made it even nicer for us. As the weather was quite hot we slept with the windows open, unfortunately we were near the bins for the Toby Carvery that was next door and they emptied & used the... More

The Travelodge is just that; a lodge for travellers. It is basic. This particular one is in need of a refurbishment but the rooms are a good size and the bathroom is bigger and better than a lot of B & Bs. We were on the second floor and no lift! Fortunately the foreign(Polish?) lad at Reception took the case... More

Lovely friendly staff and the hotel was spotlessly clean! The hotel is in an ideal location next to a Toby Carvery great for a carvery and an all you can eat breakfast. There is plenty of parking at the hotel.

Stayed here for 2 nights spotlessly clean room with great staff. Toby carvery is a bonus. We had a room on the 3rd floor at back which was very quiet however the wifi connection was a bit slow. All in all a great room at a great price will stay again.

This is a great Lodge, so different from all the others we stay at. I'm guessing it was an old hotel which has been converted to a Lodge and a Toby Carvery. Its conveniently situated as a base for exploring Skipton and the Dales.

The room was of a decent size and was clean. It had a decent TV with some sort of freeview. I was allowed to borrow an iron and ironning board twice in one day. The staff were polite and helpfull and also good looking eastern european women which is always a treat. Well worth the money.

In general the hotel was a perfect location, with a Toby Cavery next door for breakfast and evening meal. The disappointment was the hotel badly needs a total refurbishment inside and out to bring it up to modern standards.

Thank you for your review Dave C. It is regrettable to learn you found our Keighley hotel to be dated. We do want all of our hotels to be up to the same great standards so we are pleased to confirm that all of our hotels are currently undergoing a full refurbishment programme where all of our rooms will be... If you're looking for luxury, extras and style then you don't stay at a Travelodge, it is what it is! I have graded very good for this reason, not because I think it is 'very good' compared to other hotels but because you get what you pay for and in that respect I have very few complaints. My husband and... More
