Booked this hotel after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor, and it certainly lived up to them..The rooms are elegant and have so many lovely touches.We stayed in the surgery which has lovely views and soon to be hot tub.Nothing is too much trouble for Ray and Gill who bend over backwards to be helpful their staff all offer very good... more

We booked last minute for a two night romantic break, chose the Sanctuary Spa room with a private hot tub and were definitely not disappointed... Fantastic weekend away, thanks to the superb rooms and hospitality supplied by Ray & Gill. I stayed at Ashmount Country House with my husband to celebrate our second wedding anniversay. We stayed in The Honey Pot which was beautiful.
