Stayed for two nights. The room was beautiful with a four poster bed chaise longue and period decor The bathroom was huge and complete with a whirlpool bath Breakfast was freshly made and enough to set you up for the day My only criticism would be the lack of power on the shower and for me the bed was too... I stayed in the Blue Heaven room which was ideal for me with the walk-in shower in a huge bathroom which also had a spa bath. There was a four-poster bed but not really any curtains you could close - they were just for show. The room faced the cobbled street along which only pedestrians could stroll, so quite quiet... More

We loved this hotel and its location with great views from the valley side bedrooms. The bedroom facilities were first class and it had a very smart resturant with excellent food. Only thing missing..a traditional bar

We stayed here mid week for one night as a treat for our tenth wedding anniversary as that is as long as we could get to be away from the kids! We stayed in the Blue Heaven room. It had a lovely four poster bed & beautiful printed wallpaper. The bathroom was very big with a jacuzzi bath and separate... More

We booked this with a 'Fresh Weekend' voucher as a wedding present and we were not disappointed. We stayed in The Lavender Room (including a Four Poster Bed) which was clean, a good size and a lovely bathroom full of fluffy white towels. The Registry is situated at the bottom of a cobbled street with easy access to all shops,... More

The staff are really welcoming, helpful and friendly. The room was really nice, comfortable, clean and tidy. We had dinner in the evening and it was delicious, I'd highly recommend the beef (melts in your mouth). We had breakfast delivered to our room in the morning and that was delicious too. Overall, a great stay, shame it was only for... More

This is a lovely period building at the foot of the cobbled main street. Parking is available at the inn across the road, about 100 yards walk from the Old Registry. The house is spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated to reflect the period. We stayed for 2 nights for our anniversary and had the Lavender room on the second floor.... More
