My husband and I had already been planning a trip to Northern England and Scotland. Haworth was not on our original itinerary. However, one Sunday morning I saw the Fleece Inn in a story about Yorkshire ales in the travel section of the New York Times. We decided to tack it on to the end of our adventures. Our plan... More

WOW, Thank you so much for such a detailed review. We are so pleased you managed to fit us into your travelling plans, a few customers have commented about the New York Times now and we are overjoyed that our little inn's reputation has travelled so far. Haworth is a great little village, so we are happy to see you... More

My partner and I dropped by here on the first night we were staying in Haworth. Our B&B was located just on Rawdon Road and this pub is just behind us on Main Street, so we decided to stop by in the evening for an evening meal and a few drinks. We also dropped in a few times during the... More

What a great place to stay, eat and drink. The rooms are immaculately clean and well appointed. The staff are very friendly. The food is first class, as is the real ales. The draught cider is a bit pricey. The pub is set in great location and is very good value for money. The only downside is the parking. There... More

Myself and partner spent 2 midweek nights here. Could not fault the breakfasts, the beer or the staff. However our room (Number 6) was one to avoid. It has no view but the back walls of a narrow passage. However the worst aspect was the constant din of some kind of extractor fan which although we were told would stop... More

We stayed in a front bedroom with beautiful views. The room was spotless the bed comfortable, with all white cotton bedding. We had an evening meal there and both meals were hot ,tasty, and large portions! The breakfast choice was excellent, and fresh local produce. The staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. I would recommend The fleece to anyone!

I visited the Fleece last night as decided me and Angela needed a bit of a night out. We arrived at 7.45 and ordered some drinks then were shown to our table, which looked very appetising. I decided on black pudding fritters followed by their gourmet burger as I had heard good things about it. My partner ordered Stilton and... More

We stayed at the Fleece Inn for one night after a very long walk over the moors from Hebden Bridge. The room we were given was at the back of the building looking out onto two, very high, stone walls, lots of piping, a calour gas bottle and the kitchen chimney, not very nice. Having arrived about 5pm we thought... More

Our rooms were at the front with lovely views and were quiet despite being above the high street. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and decor was stylish and modern whilst being sensitive to the buildings age. The restaurant and pub decor is more basic but food and service were excellent. Best battered haddock I have ever had: batter... More

We tried five of the pubs along Haworths Main Street. This was by far the best with a good quantity of cask ales from Timothy Taylor and too my surprise it even had a dark brew, Ram Tam which served perfectly. As a member of CAMRA I can confidently recommend this pub for service and quality.

We stay here as often as we can , Limited number of rooms so we can't always. A superb selection of well kept Timothy Taylor beers and friendly bar staff.Great food and a good menu, The breakfasts are great too and the staff friendly even first thing in the morning!
