Stayed at the old white lion in May for 1 night. Lovely pub at the top of the village. Howarth is a gorgeous little place. Staff very friendly, rooms spotless with great power shower. Booked our evening meal on arrival and very glad we did to, delicious. Would definitely stay here again.

A very good welcome from a freindly receptionish was a good start to a two day stay using this hotel as a base for a golfing break. All the hotel staff encountered were execeptionally freindly and helpfull. They have smallish car park close to the hotel which is usefull as it can be a busy place to park. My room... More

Great location, amazing food (evening meal and breakfast), very warm welcome and quaint rooms. We would highly recommend this hotel for a weekend away. Child friendly and a bar with atmosphere. This was my Father's 60th birthday celebration and the staff were very accomodating with cake/candles etc.

This is a delightful place to stay. Very friendly welcoming staff and comfortable rooms. Our room was quite small, which is to be expected in a quaint historic building, but the bathroom had obviously been recently updated and was very high quality. Breakfast was delicious and the evening menu looked very good and we would have loved to eat there... More

Stayed here last night and it couldn't be more perfect. This hotel has everything going for it. It has a traditional pub with great pub food, a fantastic formal restaurant with a chef whose creative menu and food would not be out of place in any top restaurant and of course it's a hotel. The hotel staff are friendly and... More

Visited here for a meal one night whilst staying in the area. Food is really good, homemade quality! Reccomend the fish and chips! Did not have to wait too long either, even although the pub was quite busy with lots eating that night. Staff very good as well, excellent customer services. Facilities very clean. And you get a good pint... More

I spent 2 nights here in April. Small room but very comfortable bed and nicely appointed bathroom. Had dinner one night and this was really excellent (had the set 3 course meal for £17.95). The bar lunch can also be recommended. The staff were very pleasant and always keen to help.

I stayed just the one night but what a great hotel. Room was large, clean and very comfortable. Great breakfast, all locally sourced produce and well presented. Warm and friendly staff. A definite return stay in planned next time I am in that part of the world.

We had a great meal last year at the hotel so we decided to have our wedding anniversary break at the hotel this year. What a great choice despite the amazing snow. 10 foot drifts. We made the car park and that was just about it for the weekend. But who cares. The staff were absolutely great and the breakfasts... More

We were made to feel extremely welcome even before we arrived, as it was booked over the phone. The hotel is cosy, and like Haworth it feels like nothing much has changed in 200 years, except of course running water and clean modern facilities! The location is second to none,if you are a Bronte fan and visiting Haworth for this... More
