Great location, amazing food (evening meal and breakfast), very warm welcome and quaint rooms. We would highly recommend this hotel for a weekend away. Child friendly and a bar with atmosphere. This was my Father's 60th birthday celebration and the staff were very accomodating with cake/candles etc.

Visited here for a meal one night whilst staying in the area. Food is really good, homemade quality! Reccomend the fish and chips! Did not have to wait too long either, even although the pub was quite busy with lots eating that night. Staff very good as well, excellent customer services. Facilities very clean. I spent 2 nights here in April. Small room but very comfortable bed and nicely appointed bathroom. Had dinner one night and this was really excellent (had the set 3 course meal for £17.95). The bar lunch can also be recommended. The staff were very pleasant and always keen to help.

I stayed just the one night but what a great hotel. Room was large, clean and very comfortable. Great breakfast, all locally sourced produce and well presented. Warm and friendly staff. A definite return stay in planned next time I am in that part of the world.

We were made to feel extremely welcome even before we arrived, as it was booked over the phone.
