I have just returned from spending a couple of days at nearby Oxenhope. Literature we found where we were staying described Haworth Old Hall Inn having friendly staff and it is a dog-friendly pub. On Sunday evening (13th July) we popped in for a drink. Immediately, I was impressed by the excellent choices of real ales - I was spoilt... More

Hello. It was really nice to meet you on Sunday. Glad to hear pooch enjoyed it too. Jake has a bit of a soft spot for dogs, they get treated like royalty when he's about. Glad the Sneck Lifter worked it's magic , and thanks for a lovely review. More

We were visiting friends in Oxenhope and took a walk into Howarth to the Howarth old Hall with our young children. On approach it was lovely, the seating outside was perfect as it was a sunny day. We had a drink first then ordered our food at the same time as our friends who were on the same table. It... More

Hello and thank you for your review. 5/5 for location has made my day. Look , there are usually two sides to these things. You weren't happy with a 45 minute wait on your order , on a hot , sunny Sunday lunchtime , fair enough , perhaps we could have been quicker. When a customer is aggressively shouting at... More

Found this lovely place while trying to find somewhere close to Queensbury for a meeting - previously stayed in Bradford and had to deal with early morning traffic. Built in the 1500s, this lovely old manor house is at the bottom of the cobbled street/hill where the Bronte parsonage is situated. It really doesn't make enough of a song and... More

We stayed for one night mid june. Our room was very good, nice and tidy. We had to leave early next morning and the manager cooked our breakfast especially to help us out. What a great help that was to us, Haworth is a lovely place to visit and this is a great place to stay.A++++

Visited the Old Hall twice during our weeks stay in Haworth. Very busy for Sunday lunch but the food was excellent after a short wait. Lovely Sunday roast. Quieter later in the week again for lunch. Great food although on the pricey side. Would recommend it.

Four of us with dog did a tour of the area's pubs, with Haworth Old Hall being the first. Although not overly warm, we decided to sit outside on one of the many tables. We each chose sandwiches, which were excellent, ok, not the cheapest but good value. Ales were good, especially the Sneck Lifter. Overall, a good experience. The... More

Thankyou Andy for your kind words. Glad you enjoyed your sandwiches , we do use the best artisan baguettes available and the meat is all local. Sneck Lifter can sort out the boys from the men , it is indeed a fine ale. Thanks again More

Stopped off here for a ' quick' snack on Good Friday as a local had recommended it to me. The weather was good and many people had a similar idea, but there were plenty of free tables in the beer garden and I expected that a pub in a tourist area would anticipate the Easter period was likely to be... Nice to see a local recommended us. I do remember seeing you at the bar as i am the gentleman you referred to getting the attention of a member of staff. I don't recall anyone "snapping" at you , i asked the chef and he said your food would be out next. We did have 3 blackboards in the bar... More

Food was good although expensive for what it was and took a long time to come out. Staff were nice but service was extremely slow. We gave up on pudding because it would have taken to long. So wouldn't return as other pubs in the area are much nicer.

Hi Phoebe. Thank you for mentioning that the food was good and staff were friendly , despite the wait. I'm not sure which day you visited , but we did have delays over the easter period , but we do keep customers aware of this. Sometimes the sheer volume of customers will mean this happens. Perhaps you could return and... More
