Food was good although expensive for what it was and took a long time to come out. Staff were nice but service was extremely slow. We gave up on pudding because it would have taken to long. So wouldn't return as other pubs in the area are much nicer.

Stayed Saturday till Monday the staff were very friendly, and the double room was lovely. The noise from the bar didn't bother us much because after all the walking on Saturday we were very tired.I would stay here again a lovely place.

Living in Haworth I am able to frequent the Old hall often, with family or friends. Don't miss this gem if you are ever in Haworth after long walk or taking in the atmospheric Bronte charm. Bar staff are obliging with friendly sense of humour. Cask ale well kept with loads of choice would no doubt please any CAMRA member.... More

On arrival the bar was busy, sometimes a good sign. Got checked in in reasonable time, got shown to our room, the first thing I noticed was the noise coming from the bar/ other rooms, not very pleasant. The room it's self was good, clean and of average size. The bathroom was also clean but just big enough. We had... More

Stayed for two nights, Monday to Wednesday. The place had a great atmosphere, the staff were brilliant, the food was quality and the room, clean and comfortable. In the bar area, there is a large fireplace with a log fire that was mesmerising to look at and sit by. There is a great choice of beers and wines to try.... More

Stayed for one night only, but will be back. Lovely, friendly staff; the overall atmosphere is very relaxed and nothing is too much trouble. We booked the double room - extremely cosy and warm and immaculately clean. A nice touch is the little dining table, where you can opt to eat breakfast should you not want to go downstairs. There... Thanks for such a great review. Having breakfast in your room is really popular with our guests. It is a lovely way to spend the morning looking out across the hills. Haworth is a great village with lots of options for dining out , although we would argue that our restaurant is the busiest with the best atmosphere. The staff... More

My family visit this great pub regularly and it is well worth the five stars I have given it. The food is always tasty and well presented, there is a great selection of real ales and lagers for all tastes (love Snecklifter and Oyster Stout). The staff are always cheerful and helpful and nothing is ever too much trouble for... More
