Stayed at this hotel for one night before flying from Leeds Bradford. Got a lovely welcome from receptionist and showed to a very large downstairs room with windows all down one side overlooking secluded track area with trees which was lovely. Apparently being landscaped so might not be so private when finished. Room was great with en-suite facilities, shower very... More

Stayed for 2 nights. Reception staff very friendly and helpful and check in was quick and painless. Shown to our room, which was huge, basically furnished but clean and probably the biggest room we have stayed at in the UK. True the room was basic but the bed was comfortable, and the room clean and tidy. Breakfast was Continental style... More

From start to finish this hotel was brilliant, easy check in with lovely friendly young lady on reception. We were shown to our rooms and were totally amazed at how large the rooms were, we booked into a triple & king room and both rooms were the same size, very clean, light and airy and including ensuite bathroom with fast... The booking in was easy and friendly. The room was huge, clean, light and airy. Nicely decorated and... More

I stayed here one night while attending a work course in Idle. The hotel is clean, basic and the decor very dated. It smells a bit musty. I only saw one member of staff as I arrived late and left early - she was lovely very friendly. Apparently there is a gym but didn't have chance to use it. My... More

We spent a very pleasant overnight stay at this clean, comfortable and friendly hotel. Our room was huge and nicely decorated with a kingsize four poster bed, little seating area with desk and a two seater sofa, with huge windows running the full width of the room. The bathroom was spacious with a double rain shower. The leisure facilities were... More

Visiting relations in Yorkshire, wife & I booked into the Highfield Hotel . Our room was large and spotless. Leasure facilities were good. Downside, no dining room. Breakfast was self service in a corner of the foyer, facing reception desk that was unmanned. No cooked breakfast offered. Cereals and tots if you put it in the toaster. An urn with... More
