We've just returned from a 2 nights stay at Chilgrove Farm B&b and thought it was utterly delightful. We stayed in the annexe in a room which was enormous - very clean and modern, fantastic walk in shower, and nice deep bath ( big enough for 2!) and even better....underfloor heating in the bathroom was a real cosy bonus. Simon... more

I chose this place based on the trip advisor reviews and everything was perfect. The views of the South Downs were quite lovely. (you can walk up to the tumuli on Bow Hill from here) It was very peaceful and quiet. After reading about the marvellous Simon and his breakfasts I was not disappointed. He really is very genial and... more

I chose Chilgrove Farm for a three night break after reading other reviews here and I was not disappointed. The directions were exactly right, which was good because the location is a little off the beaten track. Simon was there to greet us and show us to our rooms and also acted as cook for the excellent English breakfasts. Our... more

"What an excellent find" I do a lot of travelling UK plus abroad and I can honestly say this is one one of the best BB's I have stayed at in the UK. Suggest you read the other reviews as there is nothing I can add/say but try it. Simon is a nice guy he welcomed us in person which... more

There is nothing to add to the other reviews concerning the place or the accomodation: very high standard. Which is more important is that we came in and Simon immediately gave us the feeling of being welcome after a long journey and having looked for a decent B&B everywhere around. In fact we experienced a B&B which we have not... more

Just had a great stay at Chilfrove Farm. Fairly new (few years old?) conversion about 6 miles from Chichester. Owner is on-site and is very helpful, also cooks a mean full english! Room are HUGE and very clean. Bathroom also large with ACE walk-in shower (wet room style) and very powerful. Flatscreen tv, dvd player and sky (free-sky channels). Tea,... more

We found this delightful B&B via Tripadvisor and were not disappoihted. Our room was everything we had hoped for, with plenty of space to relax in, and extremely comfortable. There was plenty of hanging and storage space, which is important if you are staying for a week, as we did. The bathroom was of an extremely high standard. Our host... more

Simon Renwick has done a lovely job restoring cute little farm outbuildings to creat light, warm, comfortable and spacious accomodation, comprising two studios in the yard (love these) and two rooms in the house itself (not sampled), backed up by his great welcome, attentiveness and the best breakfast ever. I have stayed dozens of times in or near Chichester recently... more

Just back from a lovely two night stay at Chilgrove B&B. After a long, long drive around a car park called the M25 and down the A3 we reached a very very dark and quiet Chilgrove, tired and in need of a warm welcome. Fortunate for ourselves we found such a welcome from Simon who runs this B&B who showed... more

Great place for a quiet few days in the country. Chilgrove is a small village not far from Chichester, and the B&B is down a very quiet road near the local 'manor house'. At this time of year there were pheasants everywhere, giving the place a very rural feel. The rooms are excellent - originally farm buildings but converted to... more
