We had a lovely room with large ensuite.Fantastic power shower! Trent's is in a central location very easy to find.Friendly staff ,very welcoming.A few negatives...room far too warm at night and noisy on a Saturday night with people obviously leaving a club nearby. Also nowhere to park the car. Nearby carparks expensive so we ended up driving out to a residential... More

We wanted to stay in central Chichester and Trents seemed to fit the bill. We arrived on a rainy Friday evening and had a bit of trouble finding a decent spot to park. Trents is right on the main road. We managed to find the car park that is right behind the hotel. To park all day is £12.20. We... More

Accessed via a skinny passageway past the kitchen and a steep flight of stairs, my room (number 5) was a good size with a large bathroom. The radiator pumped out heat, though it was nice to find the sash window could also be opened for fresh air. The bed was very comfy, which might have been just as well as... More

I went to here last summer, it was a really hot day and my room was boiling when I got in despite the fact that the staff had put a fan in the room to try to cool it. The old building obviously can't have industrial air-con fitted but I definitely think something more needs to be done. I would... More

After arriving into Chichester it took us nearly an hour to finally find the hotel and at one point my wife went on foot whilst I was driving trying to avoid going the wrong way down one of the many one way and pedestrianised streets that Chichester has to offer. Eventually we parked up in a car park that actually... More

After a rather disconcerting entrance (reception is in the bar) we were shown to a very pleasant room by helpful staff. It was railing hard so we stayed in for dinner, quality average. Breakfast in the morning was gargantuan and good. There wasn't a great deal of efficiency about the place, but room, breakfast and, above all, location were good.

Stayed at Trent's because my usual place was closed. I have stayed at Trent's many times before, but not for about a year. Cut to the chase; I was in room 5 on Saturday the 2nd January 2016 and on checking in, I noticed a constant sound of running water. At bed time (11.30 ish), It was as if I... More

Have visited Trents annually as a base for Goodwood Revival for many years. Always been impressed with the rooms, the garden, bar staff and service. Last visit was a different experience altogether, so not sure if there's a new manager or owner. Incompetent would be one way of describing the chap running it on the Sunday after Goodwood Revival 2015.... More

Stayed here overnight with my son on his 18th birthday after a day at the races at Goodwood . Nice clean twin room with comfy beds and good shower . As has been said before quite lively ( loud music from bar didn't stop until 23.30) and noisy due to being on busy street . Still a good nights sleep... More
