We have stayed at The Old Forge on a number of occasions and have found it to be truly outstanding every time. The accomodation is very comfortable, spotlessly clean and most inviting. The location is excellent. The breakfasts are superb with least four very different dishes to chose from. You are always made to feel very 'welcome by the owners.... more

This is the second visit to this B/B and have found it fits all of our needs, we would certainly recommend this establishment to anyone needing to stay in the area. The patrons know all the places of interest, their guest's comfortsare first and foremost their priority, give it a try. more

Sandra & Charlie were the ultimate hosts. The customer service was outstanding, along with the wonderful facilities and surrounding. They could not have been more helpful at a rather stressful time. We will never forget our stay in the wonderful Old Chapel and the incredible relaxing views. Would we stay there again...You bet. Nick & Christine more

set in lovely part of the countryside, we stayed there for 3 nights. although it was reasonable value for money we did find the room rather small and stuffy and if it hadnt have been for the hospitality and breakfast we would have been dissapointed. the chapel rooms look great but dont expect the other rooms to resemble those. more

First and foremost the hosts make you feel very welcome and are superb with recommendations around things to do and see in the local area. They know most of the local restaurants and we enjoyed eating at the ones they recommended. The best one being the Lamb Inn at Pagham especially if you like fish. We stayed in their smallest... more

We stayed here due to attending a wedding nearby. We were allowed to check in early due to having to change for the wedding. We were given a lovely welcome plus a pot of tea even though there were refreshments in the room. We were offered the chance to leave our car at the party and they would take us... more

We have just returned from a week's break at Old Chapel Forge, having had a "taster" weekend back in November 2008. To us this is the ultimate place to escape to the country and recharge the batteries. From the outset our hosts made us very welcome, and their knowledge of the local area is superb. No matter what your taste... more

I stayed at the Old Chapel Forge for 4 nights during one of the coldest weeks of the year. Whilst it was freezing outside the room was warm and welcoming, comfortable and very clean. Excellent location for a winter break. The owner works hard to make sure her guests feel well looked after. more

I booked a Suite with Old Chapel Forge due to everything I read about it online. This place is perfect. The room I stayed in was fantastic, big room, high ceilings, and most importantly, I felt more comfortable there than I do in my own home. The breakfast was all locally sourced, and the portions were more than ample. I... more

We stayed for two nights at this delightful Bed and Breakfast after doing some simple background research into places to stay. From the off, the service was impeccable - the inital welcoming, descriptive phone conversation followed up by a confirmatory detailed email which included many places to see, options of where to walk the dog and reccommended restaurants and pubs.... more
