We had two brilliant nights at the Old Chapel Forge - wife and myself, teenage daughter and @rinocoTheDog sharing two rooms, each en-suite, to the side of main farmhouse. Rooms are clean, warm, well furnished and very comfortable - great extras like nice chocolate biscuits and Whittard hot-chocolate and fruit tea in the room. Peaceful in the evening, slept well... Lovely, lovely place with an even lovlier host! Absolutely perfect for dog owners as there's a big field right behind the B&B and our room was spacious enough to accomodate my husband, myself and our 2 large dogs. Wonderful breakfast and atmosphere throuout. We will be back!

We stayed when visiting family in the Bognor area for 1 night, got there later than planned however our key was easily accessible in a small coded safe outside the door. Our room (Standard double) was very nicely decorated and clean. The bed was comfortable and the ensuite bathroom very nice with added extras like shower gels and bubble bath!... More

We chanced upon this accommodation and were a little skeptical at first as the location made it seem quite far from the nearest town. However, the warmth of the hosts in making us feel at home was amazing. The thoughtfulness to wait and welcome us despite us being slightly late, to printing out maps and directing us to good places... More

this was our second stay for glorious goodwood, last time five ago, stayed in the same front chapel as before. Everything was excellent just like the last visit, Sandra made us very welcome and was also very helpful. We were with friends who occupied the back chapel and they just as pleased with there room. From Alan, Janice, Cath and... More

Firstly, communication from this place is poor - allegedly my email address was wrong on the internet and I didn't receive an email I should have done. Funny how booking.com managed it with the same address??!! The place is not easy to find and the post code refers to the middle of a field. The rambling directions in the email... More

Obviously everyone has different opinions but we were disappointed. Whilst the exterior of the chapel is lovely, once inside the room that we had (the front chapel) was very dim with very high windows and not one could be opened, (certainly not light and airy as one reviewer has described) it must be really hot in there in the summer.... I am sorry you didn't enjoy your stay. The room does have a tall window that opens and overlooks the garden and opens very wide on the special openers. The rooms are very well insulated to ensure that the room stays warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Heating is on 24hrs and controlled in each room to... More

We were looking for a hotel/ B&B at short notice and stumbled across this. The photos on the site sold it to us since it was not the sort of place we would ordinarily choose. It is a little unusual but in a lovely way. We stayed in a 17th century converted chapel, with direct access to the room. The... More

We had a REALLY wonderful stay here - clean, comfortable and welcoming. It has an interesting history - both medieval and more recent - WW2 and the Normandy Landings. The King of Norway stayed there in the 1940 and the back garden was a runway for the Norwegian Air Force in the war. Critically this establishment lives up to the... More

We booked this B&B so that we could go to the races, Glorious Goodwood,1st -4th August, 2013, it's a little way off the the race track but well worth having to get to there in a taxi, which Sandra always rang for us, she uses a lovely local firm who are gentlemen and tourist guides if, like us, it is...
