We spent 2 nights @ the Old Chapel Forge on our trip around England. While nice and close to Chichester and Portsmouth it it memorable for what it did badly than anything remarkable. Do not expect any local guidance on what to see and do other than the obvious of Portsmouth ... it was just so opposite to everything else... More

I can only imagine that you must stayed at another B&B as I am the only owner, female, single and live on my own. I can assure you I am never not dressed for breakfast. Do hope you experience of the UK got better. More

I cannot recommend the Old Chapel Forge enough! I stayed here with a friend and had a fantastic time. The house is set back off the road in a beautiful garden. Sandra, the owner, is so friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and homely. The food was delicious and there was a great choice. Staying at the Old Chapel... More

Took a bit of finding.....we wanted rural, and we got it! The car park was situated just metres away from our room. We had a short walk down the garden and entered the property through a private front door. i was very impressed with our room, two comfortable beds, a small settee, T.V with digital channels, a D.V.D player, even... My sister and I wanted beautiful scenery and peace and quiet. That is exactly what we achieved. The room was comfortable and every small detail was considered by our friendly and helpful host. Everything was clean and I appreciated the beautiful patio garden and the views from the garden to open fields. This house is ideally located for access to... More

Beautiful interior/exterior! The owner Sharron was very accommodating to my dietary requirements as I'm vegan and gluten free. She was very friendly during breakfast although on the last day she did not cook my boyfriend a full English as requested the night before + you can post the piece of paper as late as you get back. She did recommend... More

Convenient to Chichester, Arundel and Selsey areas by car/road, Old Chapel Forge is a special venue, with comfortable décor and furnishings, situated amidst fields and embedded in delightful garden accents. We selected and stayed in the Cottage King Suite. A delightful and considerate host, Sandra adds special personality to each conversation, whether about the history of the area, family, or... More

Thank you for taking the time to review us. The driveways can be a little tricky and sorry would like to put up some mirrors but highways will not let me on their land and the farmers land is too far to make the mirrors visible. we have parking on the other side of the road which does help if... A very much needed break has been ruined by this accommodation. It began with the lack of any kind of welcome, no one around. No where to unpack clothes into, just an iron frame from which to hang things. Window sealed and blocked by TV and table, old towel stuffed along bottom of door to soak up water. Smells of... More

Thank you for the criticism and we now understand you were unhappy and are sorry for this. You arrived after nine in the evening and have used the key safe to enter your room.
