We stayed here for one night following a trip to the theatre which is, literally, just a stone's throw away. The room was fine and generally well equipped with a good sized TV but, as others have said, some of the furniture is a bit tired and could do with replacing. As some others have also said, the curtains are... More

Food below average for the price. Service haphazard. very slow . How can any reputable restaurant run out of ketchup on a Saturday lunchtime with a Tescos less than 200 yards away.Would not recommend.

The George and Dragon is really well situated in Chichester and staff were very helpful. Our issue was that whilst lots of the furnishings looked new they had not been looked after. Cupboards were chipped and chairs covered in scratches. The toilet seat was broken and surfaces not all clean. That said, whilst it was easy to find fault, our... More

You won't find many pubs in Britain that serve such great food for such value for money. Try the Sunday lunch. Great beef and fantastic pork complete with the best crackling ever. Self service on the vegetables mean you can eat as much or as little as you want and the generous helpings of pudding means this is not a... More

I will caveat this review by saying I only spent about 8 hours in the room so I cannot give a full appraisal. I arrived at 11pm and left at 7am, the room (Room 1) was nicely furnished albeit small. The bed was quite comfortable although very hard. It was in a good location in Chichester so convenient for the... More

We popped in for a drink and decided to stop for a quick meal before going to the theatre. We ate in the conservatory at the back of the pub which looked out on to a beer garden/patio area. I had salmon on a bed of broad beans and samphire with new potatoes and my husband had a pea and... More

Mattress so thin all you can feel are the springs.terrible nights sleep which is such a shame as the pub is in a good location, with excellent staff and a fabulous breakfast.room and bathroom a bit shabby.feel that it was overpriced.

Thank you for your review we do listen and use reviews to make the business better. On bringing the mattress in your room to our attention i have had all the mattresses changed and upgraded. We stayed in here for one night on Easter Sunday and generally found the place pretty accommodating and friendly enough. On arriving we were greeted by an affable young lad who was rushed off his feet but found enough time to give us a good idea of what to...if I was to be a tiny critical, he was a bit... More

This pub/hotel is in a great location, just 2 minutes into the centre of the city. The staff were lively and very helpful and good customer service. Surprisingly quiet for a pub. The only downfall, in my opinion was that it was a little expensive £100 per night for what it is. The room needed some TLC. The shower door... More

3rd time I've stayed here and have never been disappointed. Rooms are nice, well decorated with flat screen TVs and tea & coffee making. Beds comfortable and shower has good water pressure. Staff very friendly and great breakfast included. Location fantastic, very easy stroll to centre and wall walk just opposite. One downside is that in summer the beer garden... More
