Good points - Cheerful pleasant young staff , Very good breakfast, Convenient location, Rooms located away from pub. Bad points - Dingy room with poor lighting, Fixtures and Fittings of a poor quality, Towels not changed, Shower did not stay on its clip and water was too hot to use without fear of being poached, At £80per night, including a... The George and Dragon is a nice pub with accommodation. The rooms are located in a separate building behind the pub. The room was of average quality. Very cramped and poor sitting area. Otherwise nothing special. Very thin walls and ceiling, Could hear other guests speaking and walking through their rooms. Breakfast was very good, but the pub didn't look... More

Fleur and her boss were really good to us when we had locked ourselves out of our house around the corner from G&D on my 30th birthday. We made it just as they were closing up for the night after coming in from an indulgent day in London. They were friendly and sympathetic and kindly gave us a charitable upgrade... More

Wonderful warm & friendly welcome at the G&D. We could not have had a better Christmas, which is why we return again & again! Best breakfast we have ever found - no change there - is excellent. Great value for money, perfect location, so very convenient for everything. Highly recommend & looking forward very much to returning again ASAP.

Another wonderful home-from-home stay at the G&D! Great food, service & excellent value. Would highly recommend, which is why we keep returning! We haven't enjoyed a better breakfast anywhere. Winter-warming cider beautiful!

Über central, cute little boutique pub and b&b. stayed here with work on a few occasions and always had great service and slept really well. Breakfasts are big, lots of options for veggies and non veggies alike. Rooms have all the usual mod cons and great bathrooms. Walking distance from town square so perfect location for work or holiday visit.

What a find! If you want somewhere to eat and drink in warm, friendly surroundings with the added bonus of somewhere tastefully and stylishly decorated to rest your head, then this fits the bill perfectly. Highly convenient location, great food and staff that are attentive and friendly but not overbearing! Alternative down the road looks great but puts George and... More

Highly recommended. A proper bar with a real fire and a sofa making a welcoming corner. Lunch was good, breakfast was uncomplicated and good. The room, overlooking noisy smokers courtyard was in poor state of decor and had been created by a man...no proper toiletries just a slither of soap and a gel...no conditioner, no long mirror, poor dressing table,... Stayed here for one Friday night in November whilst attending a evening function at the Cathedral. The rooms, at the back of the Inn, have their own off street access for when the pub is closed. Being former a coach house, the ceiling of the ground floor room was low yet the room was large with an extremely comfortable double... More

I stayed at the George and Dragon for one night for business and have to say it was excellent value for money. The hotel is situated right in Chichester town centre, meaning that it's handily located for food, pubs and there's a cinema not too far away too. I checked in quickly, though I did have to ask for a... More
