Stylishly modernised pub in Chichester. Nice conservatory/dining area, slipshod pub service. Food about what you would expect from from a pub (except this one appears to have "foodie" pretensions). Nothing much to criticise, apart from Eastern European waitress service. No compelling reason not to eat eat here, no compelling reason to forego a meal elsewhere more

My wife and I spent the weekend visiting Chichester whilst attending our friend wedding. We stayed at the George and Dragon and were instantly made to feel welcome. The staff were charming, helpful, accommodating, and the food was lovely. I can recommend to anyone who is considering staying at the George and Dragon. Thank you! James from Manchester more

Found the pub very welcoming and friendly. The food was excellant and the atmosphere was great. The accomodation was very warm and cosy and had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this pub for lunch, dinner, a night out or a place to stay. It is in the town to. more

We stayed at the George and Dragon for one night for my Birthday. (As we only live in Worthing we didnt want to pay £140 to stay at the old Ship which actually isnt all that great for the money.) We were offered the King Room for £85 including full English breakfast. The room was a decent size with TV,... more

I had to stay here for work for 2 days as our Recruitment office is just up the road. I looked it up here and was a bit nervous but this place is lovely - it was very clean and was well priced. The room is small but it had another little part and was fine. Very central and can... more

Not as bad as the reviews I had read. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and the decor satisfactory. The location is perfect especially if you don't have a car. Although I only stayed one night I would stay there again. more

I believe the hotel has a new manager/owner and there has been an improvement in the accommodation standard. Our room had twin beds, was newly decorated and we had a comfortable stay. Breakfast was very good value for money. more

Although the rooms are small but not unpleasant (the bathrooms however are very eastern european) the staff are simply ghastly. Unbelieveably rude, everything is too much trouble. They seem to really resent the extra work caused by the hotel rooms. Avoid you will have a miserable time. more

A fantastic B&B with the rooms in the old converted barn at the back (very quiet) they are small but very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the food was very good (we even ate there in the evening). I can’t believe some of the other reviews, but I know the new owner has just refurbished... more
