Second time here for Goodwood races, now last year all the staff were helpful & nice could not have been more different this year. No smiles from reception staff, no good morning, grim unfriendly faces. Only one lady on reception was lovely and from what I could see the only same member of staff from last year. The second morning... More

Being honest, this was the only hotel I could find at really short notice (booked on the Thursday - going to West Wittering that weekend) and was prepared to take anything. But you know what, was pleasantly surprised. No 5-star glitz here, but staff were nice, room more than comfortable with a big double bed (not as comfy as dear... More

We stayed overnight on our way to the south coast. There are refurbishments going on at the moment but we had one of the brand new rooms with air conditioning. To be fair they had emailed us a couple of days before to say that the air conditioning was not working in all the rooms but the room we had... More

We stayed here for two nights in total. The staff are so friendly that i cannot pick one single fault. As goes for the hotel in all. Our original room had no air con so we told reception and were moved into a different room with no fuss. There are also a range of places to eat close by and... More

A couple of days before we arrived we were told that there was building work going on at the hotel, far too late to change our travel plans. Its not too far from the train station. On arriving the reception staff came nowhere near the friendly welcome we usually experience from this chain. There were builders on our corridor and... More

We stayed here for one night in early July . The room 17 was very comfortable and quiet With air conditioning . It needs refurbishing , but very clean, we arrived late Sunday afternoon so no trouble parking. It's very central for the town as we wanted to visit the cathedral . We didn't have breakfast there so can't comment.... More

My husband and I stayed here in June, we booked a 3-day deal stay whilst exploring the area. The hotel is well located on a Leisure Park with cinema, sports centre and restaurants in the complex. It is a short walk into Chichester itself and a short drive from marinas and the coast. The staff were very friendly and helpful,... More

I can understand people's frustration with the refurb as the builders are not exactly quiet but I stayed for a week in one of there new rooms and it was brilliant. The new style room is stunning and extremely modern. Ate in the restaurant twice and the food was excellent. The staff made you feel very welcome. Especially one lady... More

Fantastic staff who tried their best but it's a badly designed building and the room was too hot. 2 nights no sleep and couldn't move out as nothing available due to Goodwood and the A27 10 feet away.
