If you're travelling from Portsmouth to Brighton, the location is brilliant. If you're going the other way you drive past the hotel, turn round then drive back - it's several miles each way. The rooms are ok, a little bit tired here and there. Food is served at the Little Chef next door which for a family can easily double... more
We were booked into this Travelodge for three nights over the Christmas period as a gift from our Children who live in Emsworth. Thereby we could spend time with them and have our own bedroom! However, we were not to know that it would be a "dry" Christmas, as we could not walk to our family's house in Emsworth as... more
We secured our room well in advance at the £29 rate and at that price we were happy enough with it. The purpose of our trip was to visit the restaurant 36 On The Quay in Emsworth. Unfortunately this hotel isn't very well located for that as you have to go miles down the A27 East to Chichester and then... more

Room was standard Travelodge but since they have cut down on non-essentials such as bath oils etc (which I think is a good thing) they also seem to have got rid of essential things like a... more
The room I was in was clean and comfortable and I got a good night's sleep. I found no problems with road noise or from other guests. It is a bit bland but it is a travelodge and you get what you pay for. It is oddly located though - I booked here because it was relatively last minute and... more
Located just off motorway, this hotel looks quite pretty from outside. The room is acceptable size, but not very clean at all. The curtains are old and have never been ironed, very creased. The window can open only a little bit "due to security reasons". Spider webs were spotted in ceveral places. Some traffic noice, not terrible, but light sleepers... more
