Excellent Travelodge situated as its name suggests in the centre of Chichester. Close to all local places of interest in this town. Also close of bus stops and railway station. Travelodge is excellently maintained and all staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Only drawback is you have to use privately owned car park... More

If you've stayed in a travel lodge you knows what to expect, it was clean, basic and great value. The location was fantastic, our room overlooked the cathedral and you can get to bars and restaurants on foot. As usual for a travel lodge, no hairdryer but I had my own.

You get to know a lot about the hotel staff when (no fault of theirs) there is a hotel fire! A brilliant welcome late on a Sunday night enabled us to park our car round the side of the hotel - after five days abroad and a busy start the following morning, this was a real bonus! When the alarm... More

Great location in centre of town and opposite cathedral. Receptionist polite and welcoming. Rooms quiet, clean and decent size altho a little bit warm (could do with a/c but a fan was provided). Double glazing kept out alot of noise but it was quite nice to hear cathedral bells on a Sunday morning! Does what the brand promises. Good value.

This hotel is in a great central location near to the cathedral and is excellent value for money. The room was spacious and well maintained. It would have been useful to have a hairdryer in the room but they did have one at reception. The rooms on the second floor have high windows which you can't open, you don't have... More

The Travelodge is in a fantastic location almost opposite the cathedral. Car parking is very convenient but I would suggest any elderly customers unload their luggage before parking because you have to lug your cases up some very steep stairs. Chichester is a lovely place to explore and there are lots of pubs and restaurants nearby. We travelled to Portsmouth... More

Location is superb. Practically opposite the Cathedral and close to all of Chichester.s main shops and restaurants. Although apart from breakfast boxes and a vending machine they offer no food they are only 2 minutes walk from a JD wetherspoon which is open all day . Next door to the hotel is a trendy bar which has a limited food... More

Fantastic location right opposite Cathedral. Convenient car parking. Great to explore the south coast. Bus stop just round the corner, train station 5-10 minute walk. Very handy pub for all meals opposite. Manager and reception staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms basic but have everything you need. Beds really comfortable. Excellent price for what you get especially if booked online... More

Have used this hotel on several visits to the area now. Cannot be beaten for value for money. Book as early as possible directly on hotel website to get best rate. Staff are super friendly and Manager goes out of his way to accommodate you. Really clean rooms, super comfortable beds, fantastic location right opposite Cathedral. Highly recommended.

Excellent location in the middle of town. As usual the rooms were well maintained and clean. Exceptionally helpful girls on reception who had plenty of advice on the area when asked. Overall very good value for a simple hotel right in the middle of a lovely city. Car parking is underground next door but we had no problem with space... More
