We booked 1 night at this hotel at very short notice AND it does what it says on the tin!! It is wonderfully centrally located in Chichester. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was spotless - everything worked. This is not about being cosseted - it's about functionality! You get a great bed for a great night's... More

Had a one-night stop in Chichester and wanted to be able to walk to everything, so this fit the bill. Excellent location next to the cathedral and all the bus stops with connections around the area, so very convenient if you don't have a car. The hotel is surprisingly large inside and has an almost dormitory-like feel to it (albeit... More

Basic, good value accommodation very close to the Cathedral and centre of Chichester. There is an underground car park which is not secure but free over night. There is no breakfast room but that's not a problem when a very nice Weatherspoons pub with Cathedral views is two minutes walk.

We have been to a lot of Travelodges over the last few years but this one is probably the best we have been to. High standard rooms as you would expect, ideal location and very helpful staff made our two day stay all the more enjoyable. Would definitely go again.

I was the organiser of an exchange visit between my Sussex-based choir and a Swiss choir from Geneva, 30 of whom stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. As such I had to deal with the Travelodge central group booking facilty, which was a nightmare! The facility appears to be understaffed, so only rarely could I communicate with them by... More

Excellent Travelodge situated as its name suggests in the centre of Chichester. Close to all local places of interest in this town. Also close of bus stops and railway station. Travelodge is excellently maintained and all staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Only drawback is you have to use privately owned car park... More

If you've stayed in a travel lodge you knows what to expect, it was clean, basic and great value. The location was fantastic, our room overlooked the cathedral and you can get to bars and restaurants on foot. As usual for a travel lodge, no hairdryer but I had my own.

You get to know a lot about the hotel staff when (no fault of theirs) there is a hotel fire! A brilliant welcome late on a Sunday night enabled us to park our car round the side of the hotel - after five days abroad and a busy start the following morning, this was a real bonus! When the alarm... More
