Well what can I say?? This has to be the best Travel lodge we have stayed at, and we have stayed at a few. The rooms are huge, very, very clean and so comfortable. And the price is excellent too. It is located very close to the Cathedral and town centre, literally minutes walk. We didn't have food at the... More

I was looking for a comfortable, fairly inexpensive overnight stay in order to visit the Festival Theatre. Travelling alone, I was given a tiny, stuffy room overlooking a car park and dustbins - and paying the same for it as those sharing of course. The bed was hard and the pillows lumpy, and the toilet was stained (nothing that some... More

I visited Chichester for three nights on Wed 29th of July to Sat the 1st August 2015, with a group of friends to spend a couple of days at the Glorious Goodwood horse racing festival. We used the underground car park next door to park up. The car park was not part of the hotel, but very handy and with... More

We've been going to Chichester Central Travelodge for many years, and at least 8 times a year, and always find it to be of a consistently high standard. Rooms are meticulously cleaned with great attention paid to detail. Staff are always most helpful and welcoming. It's central location is an additional plus for us allowing easy access to the town... Easy to find near the High St and Cathedral. Parking very nearby that's free 6pm to 8am - a rare find (£10 a day outside of this). Enthusiastically greeted by the knowledgeable Kevin and I found the room to be spacious, modern and fully functional. From my first visit, I would however recommend a room at the front of the... Perfect location for theatre, shopping and cathedral. Ten minutes to theatre. Shops, pubs and restaurants outside the door, good shopping in Chichester. Clean and tidy. Parking pretty good and reasonably priced. We'll be back.

Centre of town, so can walk to the theatre and lots of good restaurants. Great bed, but tiny room is pared to the bone, very little storage space, no bedside cupboards and there isn't a bath or proper soap.

I spent a great five-night stay in Travelodge Chichester Central. The staff was very polite and helpful, the room was clean and included an extremely comfortable bed. I would recommend the Hotel to everybody.

The Chichester Travelodge was appalling. At the time of booking we were not advised that building works were in progress and the room was like a sauna. It was dark because of scaffolding and sheeting immediately outside the window and workmen climbing continually up and down to access higher levels. The noise that then ensued was unacceptable.

The travel lodge is in a brilliant location being only about 10 minutes walk from both the railway station & Chichester Festival Theatre & very close to shops & restaurants. Our room was spacious & clean. The staff had done everything they could to ensure that the room was as cool as possible for us on our arrival (on a... More
