We have been coming to the Millstream on average 4 times a year since 1998. The car found the hotel the first time. Only once have we ever had a slight problem with a meal and that was during a Revival Meeting @ Goodwood when the hotel was totally booked & busy. It is not the cheapest hotel, but the... more

From the moment we arrived, we knew we'd booked into a good hotel. The Millstream is located in a little village called Bosham. It's a 5 minute walk to the local pub and the "harbour" which is tidal bay that you can walk across at low tide. The hotel was comfortable (good bedding!) and well maintained. There were great little... more

Don't be seduced by the hotel's website, which looks great! My stay here was really disppointing. Dinner was very overpriced and the food was nothing special (£32 for three course menu & £4 for a small glass of house wine). My bedroom was badly in need of soundproofing; I was kept awake until the early hours of the morning by... more

What a wonderful little hotel - it deserves more than its three stars. The staff are all very pleasant and helpful, the room had everything you need - except maybe a view - but we did book late for Goodwood weekend and most of the rooms would have a lovely view over the garden . The food is excellent and... more

I am about to go again to the Millstream. I have been many times now over the last few years. It has its foibles and it lacks a really comfortable seating/lounge area and if you are in a room near the garden having to walk through the restuarant is irritiating and often difficutlt. However, it caters for almost anyone. I... more

A beautifully decorated historic hotel, with a smart modern extension of large rooms. Our room had a 4 poster bed, and was huge, with an excellent modern bathroom. We had a winter break, which included an excellent 3 course dinner each night - really good food, and all at a very reasonable price. more

After searching the internet for hotels in the area with a reputation for good food, I booked five days (later extended to seven days) at the Millstream. What a good choice! I felt the hotel was one the best I have ever stayed at, due to the high levels of service, quality of food etc. I had to change rooms... more

I booked the Millstream at the last minute of recommendation of a close friend (who since told me his folks love it!) for romantic weekend with hubby, away from kids. Very english and very chintzy. Our room was nice, but only nice, bit dated and bit shabby roudn the edges. The food at dinner was good, and very reasonably priced.... more

My husband took me to Bosham for our wedding anniversary and we stayed at the Millstream Hotel. It was a delightful, pretty hotel with excellent service. There is a pretty garden with a small stream running through and ornate bridges which cross the stream. The food was out of this world and well worth the slightly more expensive price than... more

Attended a friends leaving do here last week, and it was excellent. The welcome from staff was warm, constantly topping up the drinks and they knew what the canapes were. The meal itself was wonderful, we could not have asked for more. more
