Stayed 2 nights end of June bed and breakfast. Check in fine and plenty of parking. leisure club looked inviting and we had a swim, sauna and jacuzzi with only 3 others the whole time. Apparently, it doesn't get much busier than this! Bedroom was clean with new bathroom and comfortable bed. Breakfast was fine with all the usual bits... more

60 pounds for a huge room with a double 4 poster bed? I thought it was fantastic value for money given that most hotel rooms in England tend to be on the "minute" side. The restaurant was perfectly enjoyable. The staff bent over backwards to be of help whether at reception or in the restaurant. For me, first class value... more

We have read relatively good reviews on this hotel and although it was a fairly cheap price per person I was not apprehensive about staying here. When we checked into our non-smoking room it stunk of smoke which is obviously not the hotel's fault but certainly was not pleasant. The service in general was ok but not great, and I... more

I am glad my stay was for only one night and I didn't part with more than £80. Never again. I asked for a room at the rear of the hotel, due to it being sited adjacent to a roundabout and main road on the outskirts of Chichester. This was arranged and my room was not only some distance from... more

The hotel is fine, and the reception and gym staff are brilliant. But the restaurant needs management interest. The staff speak to you in American slang - eg hissing 'enjoy' as they plonk down the plate in front of you - and have clearly had no training whatsoever in etiquette and manner. My colleagues and I will not accept such... more

I had to book a hotel quickly in Chichester and came across the Chichester park hotel which looked quite nice from looking at the pictures on the website. We checked in at 2pm on the nail then went to have a relax in the bedroom. The bedroom was very hot and stuffy as you could only open the window about... more

Stayed here with my partner for 1 night, was greeted by a very grumpy receptionist, which didn't fill me with confidence! Room was very tired and smelt musty - sort of place that you wouldn't want to walk around bare foot! went into the bathroom, where i stepped on something sharp, which turned out to be a pill! - which... more

We stayed at the Chichester Park Hotel on Saturday 9th August. Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly man who then left us in the hands of his ill tempered colleague. She scared me. She also served us at breakfast and burnt my boyfriend's elbow at breakfast when she left the hot water too close to his arm. The... more

The breakfast was self service, they were very busy the morning we were there but all the food was replenished and was hot. it cost £95 for a three... more

This is a slightly shabby Travelodge-style hotel. The website does a good job of advertising the hotel as a smart spa type place but in reality it is rather frayed around the edges (threadbare carpets, chipped sinks, stained bed linen). Its OK to crash out in for one night but no more, definitely not the place for a weekend away. more
