This hotel is awful. The standard rooms are more akin to a Travelodge, while the Exclusive ones are a little better, and the three more luxurious Character rooms are located above the bar, and so can be very noisy. The room I got was about as good as you can get for under a hundred quid a night (Laterooms), and had a mini-bar, lots of drink sachets and smellies, and wonderful pillows. All the staff were helpful, and pleasant. There were lots of little touches that smoothed things allong for us. For example my wife came to lunch later than my children and I.
