Obviously new management since we stayed there a few years ago - at £95 for the pair of us we felt that was overpriced - a nice room but no air conditioning, shower only - no bath, and a 'so so' sort of breakfast. Personally we believe there are better, more 'value for money' places locally, the Chichester Park for... More

So, Jan and I stayed at the Bulls Head to allow us to attend the Festival of Speed at Goodwood. We arrived on Friday afternoon to find the place closed and had to phone to get someone to come down to check us in. The rooms are in the car park, and are adequate. Our room (No. 2) was a... More

We stayed here for two nights as we were over from Spain to attend grand-daughter's Christening. The welcome from Claire was lovely and she took time to show us the room and made sure that we had everything we needed.Everything was very relaxing and easy , no stairs to climb with luggage, and nothing was too much trouble for the... What a gem this place is. Enjoyed an excellent family dinner here this week, and looking forward to returning. On arrival the pub looks clean and well kept, with well designed disability access. The inside is everything you expect of an olde worlde english pub. Cosy nooks and crannies, exposed beams and the welcoming aroma of real fire. The evening... More

Just had lunch here and I'm so full I could barely heave myself out to the car but there was no way I was leaving any of that marvellous beef pie on my plate, delicious! generous portion, great pastry & packed full of tender beef. Lovely gravy. All food coming out of the kitchen looked great - plenty of Bisto... More

If we had not chosen to have our evening meal here this review would have been a 5. The welcome from the barmaid when we arrived couldn't have been warmer and she took great trouble to ensure that we were settled into our room and had everything we needed. The room was great, contemporary, clean, relatively spacious and with everything... More

Me and my family stayed at this lovely pub for a wedding recently and it was fantastic. The rooms were clean and tidy, the staff were friendly and accommodating and the full English was very welcome after our night out :) We decided to have a roast at the pub on the Sunday and it was very tasty - compliments... We visited the Bull's Head for lunch on the recommendation of a friend. We were not disappointed! We chose two different meals from the 'light bites' menu. The portions were generous and very tasty. We were tempted by the puddings which were great and we spent less than £20 each for drinks, main, pudding and coffee. Would highly recommend and... More

This has to be the best pub for miles around...I spent Christmas Eve at the Bulls Head in Fishbourne, Chichester and felt so at home. I really didn't know pubs like this still existed. We tried one of their roasts which was delicious and priced fairly and washed it down with a couple of pints. The atmosphere was very jovial... More
