After a beautiful wedding I had on Saturday my new husband surprised me with with a night away to relax and chill out and he picked the most amazing venue! The Fish House was just perfect in every way and I can't fault the stay we had. We stayed in the Whitstable room which had its own hot tub and... more

I think it is a place you will either love or hate. I loved it. However, the room I had (Gallway)did have definite design faults. 4 mirrors but not one in a suitable place for a lady to sit and do her makeup or dry hair. There is no shaving point in the bathroom so very inconvenient for men or... more

We have stayed at the fish house a number of times. Here are the GOOD things. The food is superb (though 13.50 for 2 scallops in a cheese sauce is not funny). . The breakfasts are wonderful: can't fault the cooking. The staff are charming and helpfull. The beds are very comfortable, the duvet and pillows divine, the linen absolutely... more

My Fiancée and I stayed here for one night over the weekend of the 15/16 August as a short break ahead of our wedding that was due at the end of the month. It is located approximately 15 minutes North of Chichester in a valley between the rolling hills of the Sussex countryside. There is nothing around you but open... more

I'm a bit of fan of Dave & Jackie's having been a frequent visitor to their last excellent establishment in Berkshire. I visited this establishment some 13 years ago in its old guise for a 40th birthday and then the occassional stop for a beer post a visit to Goodwood. What a transformation! The same style and attention to detail... more

Stayed one night on business. The hotel rooms are at the back of the restaurant all newly built hotel rooms and beatifully decorated. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Ate in the restaurant and had a wondeful meal. Beatiful setting. Highly recommended. more

This restaurant with courtyard room was a total surprise. The rooms are excellent, very well decorated and stylish. We had booked 5 rooms to celebrate a 50th birthday and were warmly welcomed and shown to our rooms. We had tea in the courtyard which is lovely. Then dinner in the evening was superb, there is a bar restaurant and a... more

Spent a Friday and Saturday night at the hotel on a dinner bed and breakfast package for £150 per night. The rooms were very stylishly decked out although not the largest rooms in the world. The style was placed slightly ahead of practicality which was a bit of a shame but the overall feel was quite luxurious. The restaurant was... more

We stayed here for 1 night and enjoyed it but found ourselves rather confused by the experience. The accommodation is in 'chalets' behind the restaurant. They are lovely chalets and ours had a beautiful bathroom, an excellent TV and other nice touches, like the coffee maker and the remote controlled Velux window. The problem was that the restaurant obviously has... more
