Room was great. Service was poor, and restaurant very over priced and a chef that doesnt know how to present food or cook a fried egg! A very dissapointing Birthday meal which put a dampner on the next days events more

We stayed here for one night, (we were going to the Goodwood Festival of Speed). The hotel is ok, it is on a busy main road, you couldn't really walk into Arundel for the evening. Yes, the staff were scarce and the girl behind the bar was doing many other jobs (reception, waitress etc etc) but she coped really well and was so pleasant. Just had a two night stay here and loved the place. The refurbished rooms are very comfortable and well equipped - great selection of teas and coffees, hairdryer, extra pillows etc. And decent sized towels too! Breakfast was very nice with very courteous staff. Really enjoyed dinner as well. Highly recommended. more

Overnight stay - meeting friends over weekend in Arundel. Very comfortable and clean throughout - newly refurbished. Breakfast good choice and great coffee (lattes etc included). Staff most helpful and pleasant. Only downside is the dangerous main road which made it impossible to walk into town so had to drive in. more
