When we arrived, we were immediately greeted by a lovely member of staff who gave us a brief but informative talk about the services they provide. Our room was absolutely beautiful. Very clean, tea and coffee making facilities, water bottles, vanity kit, etc. The bathroom had a big shower, toilet and sink. The aircon and comfy bed made for a... More

Stayed here one night - lovely, quaint pub and restaurant with rooms upstairs. My room had a large comfortable bed, and the windows looked out onto the main street - it was the southeast corner. Nice and clean. The only negative I remember is that if there are smokers outside the hotel's front door, the smoke comes in the open... More

Swan Hotel is very well situate in the center of Arundel. There is a public parking just beside and it is a easy walk to the castle. The room we had was big enough and comfortable. We had a upgrade for a double executive. I didn't give a 5 rating because there was a big stain on the carpet. Otherwise,... More

I have stayed at The Swan a number of times on business. Now staying with my wife on holiday. A real treat. Boutique-style rooms, good beer, excellent food and friendly staff. Should you want a base to explore West Sussex (e.g. the Wildfowl and Wetland Trust) and Arundel itself, this is a very good place to start.

Personally I think it managed to wear all it's hats well. Food in the restaurant was great, service was friendly and welcoming and the beer was great! A locals pub that offers a friendly, warm place to relax. Even if you're on your own. My room was on the small side. But you're in a pub hotel dating from 1759.... More

Having had a disappointing lunch, I decided to try the cream tea here. While waiting to be served, I eyed up the gorgeous cakes on display & it was a promising start. It's reviews were very good, so I had high expectations. I ordered my cream tea & seated myself in the air conditioned area. The table setting was very... More

We are locals and had a wonderful meal there in the restaurant of the Swan Friday night. The service was impeccable, the food even more so and the price.....wonderful. They had apparently had some staff off sick but you would never of known it! the service was speedy, reliable and we were even given a free starter! can't recommend it... More

We stayed for 2 nights in June for Goodwood Festival of Speed with family down from Yorkshire. The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable and the food is if the same high standard I have always expected from Fullers establishments. Staff were welcoming and for a very busy time we were given individual attention and made to feel like we... More
