We stayed at Byass House with 2 of our friends for 1 night. We received a warm welcome from Sally, the owner, and she served us tea in the drawing room. The house is beautiful and our rooms were spacious and comfortable - complete with everything we needed (including fresh milk for our tea & coffee). After a good night's... More

A large Georgian home in lovely Arundel. My room was very spacious and comfortable. Good bed and lots of nice details, fresh water with lemon, biscuits, everything about this B&B felt like you were being well looked after. Felt like staying with a friend. Highly recommended.

Byass House is a beautiful Georgian house on a beautiful street in the heart of beautiful Arundel! This not a place to stay for those that prefer boutique designer chic or hotel-chain blandness. This is very much a family home with photographs and portraits and a shabby chic feel. But it is supremely comfortable and Sally is a fab host!... More

We were very glad to have booked here, on a recent visit to Arundel for a wedding. Tastefully and well decorated Georgian house, with lovely, authentic pieces of period furniture. Very comfortable bedroom (at rear of house, sunny with views over the surrounding countryside). Yes, bathroom (but for our exclusive use ) was on landing, but did have shower. A... More

We were lucky to get a last minute booking on the first sunny day we had had for a while. Byass House is a grand old Georgian building. We found free parking just opposite. The bed was comfortable and the room spacious. Normally we would have chosen a modern place but glad we branched out a bit this time. Breakast... More

We had the front room on the first floor, and this was absolutely delightful, with bathroom en suite. We thought the breakfast was fine. This was certainly the best B&B we have stayed in. Parking is a problem, but not impossible.

Sally welcoming, had room on first floor with our bathroom on the landing, no shower which I didnt like. Our room was obviously still used by Sally as we only had the use of a small wardrobe and certain drawers and were surrounded by family photos. Coffee n tea making facilities just ok. Kettle on floor. Tesco everyday value coffee!!!... More

When booking this B&B it was admittedly last minute and done with an element of haste. Having read reviews prior to arriving, we were equipped with the knowledge that we'd have to park on a side street. Our check-in time became progressively later as time spent with family on the way down became progressively longer though each time we phoned... More

I am an 80 year old very experienced world traveller and this has been the finest welcome and accommodation (and value for money) which I have experienced both in England and anywhere in the world. This should not be missed. Paul Cotton.
