3 of us took over both the comfortable bedrooms for 4 nights. We were made extremely welcome, fed wonderful breakfasts and would happily return. Nice touches, there is a sitting room for guests and a eclectic selection of reading matter. Very quiet, good local pubs, perfect for exploring the beauty and peace of Sussex.

Needed a one-night stay, but had had enough of the 'lodge' variety and wanted to avoid noisy pubs. Hawthorns is first class - clean, comfortable, tranquil, well-appointed and a great breakfast was provided. Second vist already booked! B&JG

An absolutely delightful B&B in a charming English village with lovely local pubs nearby. What more could you ask for? Our room was lovely & breakfast excellent - will certainly stay there again when we are in the area.
